2024, Our only hope | Eastern NC Now

“The world is beset by a multitude of challenges: wars, protests, plagues, riots, deceit, racism, the scourge of deadly drugs, and breaches of borders. In the United States, we have been relatively shielded from the intensity of troubles faced by other nations. We enjoy prosperity and comfort, often prioritizing our pleasures over our devotion to God. We tend to take our safety for granted, assuming that our formidable military will always protect us. However, recent signs suggest that we may not even be immune to threats from within our own government. These are times filled with uncertainty, eroding our confidence in many of the things we once relied upon. Yet, those who place their trust in Christ can find assurance that no matter what transpires, even in the face of mortality, they will be abundantly supplied with the grace needed to overcome adversity and ultimately emerge victorious.”
