powerful issue for GOP in 2024 election if they don't blow it
A new poll from the respected Cyngal polling firm finds that 70% of swing voters favor deportation of illegal aliens who are flooding into our country from Biden's open borders. Even 50% of Democrats favor deportation. The poll analysis says that Republicans would be well served to tap into voter anger at Biden's open borders.
The same trend of voter anger at illegal immigration is showing up in polls and in election results in Europe.
Unfortunately for the GOP clueless Senate Minoritiy Leader Mitch McConnell, who is himself weak on immigration has appointed a total sellout on this issue, Senator Lankford of Oklahoma as his negotiator with the Democrats on this issue. However, in the House, Speaker Johnson has doubled down to sticking the HR2, a very tough bill to crack down on illegal immigration.
