The Islamic Entente drone attack Sunday that killed several Americans and wounded a few dozen more was a direct failure of Western air-defence doctrine. The attack along the Jordanian border (although more likely in Syria) was enabled by Tehran's sophisticated neural-network spoofing algos; Air-defence command literally could not tell the difference between friend or foe until it was too late. These attacks will increase across the entire Middle Eastern theatre until decisive action is taken. By the time you read this there will likely have been US / UK retaliation in the form of air and missile strikes; they will garner headlines but are unlikely to force a decision. All of this starting to look like the Afghanistan fiasco repeated as American forces are taking hits from the Red Sea to Iraq and on through Syria and Gaza. Not to mention the numerous operators deceased in Ukraine black ops the last two years.
While the international news was bad Sunday, back in the States the Chiefs and a Flowers TD prop got 'er dun while every D/ST missed again and the Lions futures ticket expired, as we climb to 3-2 and down 8.45 units in this space. We have yet to land a single one of those D/ST props, however we are pleased how we are seeing the NFL form. The Super Bowl goes in two weeks and getting prop action down early is the key to securing the top price in what is likely to be the most heavily wagered sporting event in history.
Veteran readers will be familiar with the reasons for hitting the "Will there be a safety? -- Yes." (+1300).
