New physician assistants join Vidant Cardiology - Greenville | Eastern NC Now

    GREENVILLE     Alison B. Cieszko has joined the medical staff of Vidant Cardiology - Greenville as a physician assistant. She will specialize in the outpatient management of patients with heart failure at Vidant Cardiology's heart failure clinic.

    Cieszko received bachelor of science degrees in physician assistant studies and exercise physiology from East Carolina University. She previously held physician assistant positions in the Department of Internal Medicine and Urgent Care Center at Physicians East, Greenville and most recently served in Hematology/Oncology Inpatient Service at Vidant Medical Center.

    "I am excited to join Vidant Cardiology, where I can continue to care for patients and be a resource for them," Cieszko said.

    Also joining Vidant Cardiology - Greenville as a physician assistant is Christopher L. Zachary.

    Zachary is a graduate of the Master of Physician Assistant (MPA) Program at Eastern Virginia Medical School and also received his master of science degree in biomedical studies from that institution. He completed his undergraduate work at North Carolina State University.

    Zachary is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

    "I am excited to join the prestigious team of providers at Vidant Cardiology - Greenville," Zachary said. "I am looking forward to helping them serve the needs of eastern North Carolina."

    Cieszko and Zachary join ten physicians and three other mid-level providers, specializing in general and interventional cardiology, electrophysiology and peripheral vascular disease, at the facility. With a staff of about 40 employees, Vidant Cardiology-Greenville sees 63,000 patients in Ahoskie, Edenton, Greenville, Kenansville, Tarboro and Washington.
