An official government advisory panel has finally said the quiet part out loud. Pushing so-called "climate justice" really means restrictions on our freedom. "Climate justice" is a term often bandied about by the Biden regime.

The Ethics Council, a body created by German law to advise the government and others on how to adjust to actions deemed necessary to fight "climate change" has issued an opinion saying that restrictions on freedom by government may be required. "If one's own exercise of freedom interferes in an unjust manner with the freedom and welfare of others or of future generations, the authorities may intervene with restrictions on freedom," the council declared.

This validates the warning issued over a decade ago by Dr. Vaclav Klaus, who is a former Czech Republic prime minister and president, who warned that climate alarmism is "a budding totalitarian ideology that is the greatest threat to freedom, democracy, and prosperity in the world today."

The wind and solar energy grifters do a lot of that raping and pillaging of the Earth, and they ironically do it in the name of "the environment". Old growth forests are being chopped down on both sides of the Atlantic for wind and solar "farms" while real farmers are being put out of business by "green" regs. In Scotland, a request under their equivalient of the Freedom of Information Act to their government forestry office revealed that 13.1 million trees had been chopped down, just on govenrment land, to build wind and solar "farms". That is just in one country. Then there are the vast swaths of the Amazon, called the "lungs of the planet" that have been clear cut for balsa wood for wind turbine blades.

Climate history is clear that the Chicken Little scare stories of the climate alarmists are all nonsense. These alternating multi-century warming and cooling cycles have happened repeatedly in Earth's climate history, with no bad result for humanity. Indeed, the last major warming cycle, which was warmer than today, the Medieval Warm Period, was a period of great wealth and human progress. The longest and hottest warm cycle, the Holocene Maximum, when it was much warmer than today for 3,000 years, coincided with the heyday of ancient Greek civilization, and things were very positive for humanity.
