New Senior Advisor for Federal and State Initiatives Joins Governor McCrory's Team


    Raleigh, NC     Governor McCrory announced a new member of the administration today, who will serve as the senior advisor for federal and state initiatives.

    Jonathan Felts will be the McCrory administration's federal liaison, working with all cabinet agencies on policy issues affecting North Carolina. Felts will work with North Carolina's congressional delegation.

    Felts was former deputy assistant to President George W. Bush and director of political affairs. He most recently served as senior vice president for political advocacy and grassroots at the American Bankers Association.

    Felts is a North Carolina native and attended N.C. State University.


Governor McCrory Takes Action on Legislation


    Raleigh, NC     Governor Pat McCrory signed the following bill into law today:

    HB 743 (Reps. Howard and Warren) UI Laws Administrative Changes

    A bill that makes technical, administrative and clarifying changes to the unemployment insurance laws.
