    Audrey Ann Wallace Clark, age 92, a resident of Pinetown, died Saturday, July 13, 2024, at her home.

    A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Pamlico Memorial Gardens with Bro. Darren Walker officiating.

    Ann was born on July 9, 1932, in Beaufort County to the late Ferd Wallace and Evelyn Waters Wallace. She married John Clark on October 14, 1957, and was happily married for 66 years. Ann was a homemaker and attended First Free Will Baptist Church in Washington, NC. She enjoyed gardening, birdwatching, and cooking. She loved being around people and never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Wayne Alligood, brothers, Elbert and Ronald Wallace, sisters, Hazel Jarvis and Ethel Beacham, and a grandson, Phillip Barbour.

    Survivors include her husband, John Clark, her children, Karen Barbour of Washington, Melanie Lyons (Thomas C. III) of Winterville, sister, Marlene Windley (Cecil) of Plymouth, grandchildren, Samantha Keech (Justin), Sarah-Anne Glosson (Morgan), Clark Lyons and great grandchildren, Claire Glosson, Jillian Glosson, and Harley Keech.
