2nd far left AOC "Squad" member defeated in Dem primary for re-election to Congress | Eastern NC Now

A second far left member of AOC's radical "Squad" has been defeated by a wide margin this year in a Democrat primary for Congress.  First it was Jamaal Bowman of New York, and Tuesday it was Cori Bush of Missouri.  Both were notorious for their outspoken support for Hamas and opposition for Isreal, and Bowman was known for his pulling a fire alarm in the Capitol to disrupt a meeting of Congress for which he should have been prosecuted but was not.  In both cases, they were defeated by more moderate Democrats, who were well funded by pro-Israel PACs.

These far left Congresscritters had to face primaries and the voters threw them out.  Far left Kamala Harris has never had to face a primary, but the progressive party elites coronated her as Democrat nominee without consulted party primary voters at all and she picked someone even farther left for her running mate.  The Democrat nomination process this year is what is REALLY weird.

Rank and file Democrat voters clearly don't want these far out "progressives" but they had no say in the party elite installing just such candidates on the their presidential ticket.
