Mrs. Shannon Nicole Jones | Eastern NC Now

    Mrs. Shannon Nicole Jones, age 29, a resident of 137 Gage Lane, Washington, died Monday, July 15, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

    Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens, Washington, conducted by Pastor Travis Boyd. Members of the Iron Order Motorcycle Club will serve as pallbearers.

    Mrs. Jones was born in Beaufort County on January 5, 1984. She was the daughter of Kenny Parker and Wanda Wells Parker. Mrs. Jones was a C.N.A. and worked in Home Health. In her spare time, she loved to make wreaths and loved to dance.

    On August 21, 2010, she married David Wilson Jones, Jr., who survives.

    Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, David Wilson Jones, Jr. of the home; her son, Mason Rayne Jones of the home; her daughter, Aubrey Nicole Jones of the home; her mother, Wanda W. Parker of Washington; her father, Kenny Parker of Washington; her brother, Blayke Parker of Washington; and her extended family, Michele Leggett of Washington and Sibyle "Sissy" Brennan of Washington.

    The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, July 19, 2013 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington and other times at the home of Tina and Rob Jordan, 217 Mansfield Road, Sherwood Forest, Washington.

    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shannon Jones Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1465, Washington, N.C. 27889.
