The recent Georgia school shooter's rampage was brought to an end when he was confronted by an armed School Resource Officer who got the drop on him and forced him to surrender. Kamala Harris is on record OPPOSING armed school resource officers in schools.

More disturbing is that the shooter had made previous threats to shoot up a school and was on the FBI's radar from that, but this incompetent agency let him slip through their fingers.

But the far left will surely blame the gun, even as illegal alaien have shown that mass stabbings can also create a bloodbath and the largest mass casualty event at a school came from a bomb, not a gun.

I do not. With proper training including mental health intervention training, I think ROs are good to have.
Not a bubba with a gun, but a well trained officer who is comfortable working with different cultures. Good stuff.

Another big blunder on the Georgia school shooting has just been revealed. The shooter texted his mother "I'm sorry, Mom" well before the shooting. Call logs show she called the school 30 minutes before the kid opened fire and had a 10 minute call with the school. She warned them that it was an "extreme emeergency" and they needed to find her son immediately. There was no lockdown or even apparently any effort to find the kid. It won't bring the dead back, but the injured and the families of the dead are going to have open season in court against the school system for gross negligence.
