Gallup poll: GOP "owns" nine of the ten key issues in 2024 campaign | Eastern NC Now

that is why Democrats want people to vote on personalities instead of real issues

ENCNow

According to their poll results, analysts at the Gallup Poll say that the Republican Party and its nominees have such an advantage that they "own" nine of the ten key issues in the 2024 campaign.  They say the race favors Trump on the issues.

Many polls have been showing throughout this cycle that the top three issues for American voters are inflation / economy, illegal immigration, and crime, and that voters prefer Republican positions on those issues over the Democrat positions. This race should be a slam dunk for Republicans, based on the issues.

This is probably why the Democrats are running their presidential candidate like it is a race for prom queen instead of for a serious political office.  They push form over substance and fluff over real policy positions.   They are seeking to get voters to vote on personalities instead of policies.

Kamala Harris is an empty pants-suit. She shows her ignorance any time she tries to talk about economics. No wonder she has continued to refuse to do press conferences, just like joe Biden!. No wonder she carefully selects the two interviews she has done with politically supportive interviewers. This woman is even less ready for prime time than Joe Biden.
