A new poll from Rasmussen Reports finds that Americans believe that President Trump has a mandate to carry out the agenda he ran on.  The poll found that 55% agreed Trump has a mandate and only 32% disagreed.  It also found that 53% of Americans believe Congress should cooperate with Trump on carrying out that mandate while 36% said it should oppose his agenda.

An earlier poll by Harvard-Harris found that 50% say Trump has a strong mandate to govern, 21% a weak mandate to govern, and 29% no mandate at all.

Check the final results. The legislative branch did go R, but not by much. Not much at all. After 2 years of the lunatic fringe, my hope is that it will change back.
