Texas sues woke NCAA about allowing biological men in womens sports | Eastern NC Now

Texas is suing the "woke" National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) over their allowing biological men to participate in women's collegiate sports.  While this position by the NCAA is both unfair and dangerous to actual women, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is using an innovative approach to go after them to protect women.  He is suing under state consumer protection law alleging that the NCAA is falsely advertising womens sports events when in fact they are allowing biological men to participate and they are really mixed sports events.

Texas AG Paxton was one of the key leaders in succesfully suing the Biden regime to stop Biden from imposing rules that would have required high schools and other public schools to allow biological boys onto their girls sports teams.  The Biden regime recently withdrew those rules after Texas and other states secured restraining orders blocking implementation.  Texas is now taking the same fight to protect women to college sports.

Recently, girls volleyball teams have been deliberately forfeiting games to avoid endangering their players by playing a team that includes a biological man.  The inherently greater strength of the male body allows men to drive volleyballs with greater force.  Here in North Carolina, that led a womens volleyball player to be seriously and permanently injured by a volleyball spiked on her by an opposing biological male player.

Not only is a biological male invading womens sports a blatant example of cheating since the physical structure of a male body is stronger than a womans body, but this "woke" NCAA policy physically endangers women.  By using the "false advertising" route, Texas simplifies the case and avoids having to get into evidentiary battles over these more complex issues.  If Texas can set a precedent on this, it can be picked up by other state Attorneys General under their own consumer protection laws.  They are also dealing with state courts, which are elected by voters and thus less likely to render woke rulings.

Meanwhile, President Trump has pledged to "end transgender lunacy in womens sports."
