After months of ineffective response from Biden's woke FEMA, President Trump is sending in the big boys to help repair the damage from Hurricane Helene in western North Carolina. In a visit to western NC to inspect the damage, Trump announced he is sending in the US Army Corps of Engineers to help in rebuilding.
This will be an early task for new Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth who was confirmed by the Senate yesterday. We also found out that in addition to really not likeing Secretary of State Marco Rubio who they have banned from entering China, they also really don't like Secretary Hegseth. We know that because Red China's waterboy in the US Senate, Mitch McConnell, voted against him.
