new UK poll: populist nationalist anti-immigration Reform Party opens up clear lead | Eastern NC Now

traditional Conservative Party second, and governing left of center Labour third

ENCNow

According to the latest poll in the UK, if the election for parliament were held today, the populist nationalist anti-immigration Reform Party, led by Brexit hero Nigel Farage would be the clear winner.  The traditional Conservative Party would be second, and the governing leftwing Labour Party third.  The ovo99 poll by the respected polling firm Find Out Now, put the Reform Party at 26%, Conservatives at 23%, and Labour at 22%.  This would be a gain of 12 points for Reform from last year's election, a loss of 12 points by Labour, and a loss of 1 point by Conservatives.

In the last poll by the same pollster, Reform and the Conservatives were tied for first place.  This is the first poll ever to give Farage's party sole first place.

The UK also has a host of lesser parties holding seats in parliament including the Scottish Nationalists, Welsh Nationalists, Liberal Democrats, various Northern Ireland parties, and Green Party.

Those party colors in the UK are a good example of how the MSM in the US "reversed the colors" for US parties when they started to arbitrarily call the GOP red and the Democrats blue. The Labour Party in the UK adopted red as its color when it was formed, just like every Communist and Socialist Party in the world. Blue, on the other hand, has been the color of the UK's Conservative Party, adopted by it in the 1700s, as parties of the right around the world use either blue or black. The Reform Party has adopted another shade of blue. And one also remembers that Ronald Reagan's campaign colors were blue and white.
