Edna “Teen” Allen Heffley | Eastern NC Now

    Edna "Teen" Allen Heffley, age 90, a resident of Havelock, died Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Carteret Landing in Morehead City.

    A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Davis Cemetery with Rev. Dennis R. Davis officiating.

    Teen was born on November 11, 1934, in Beaufort County, to the late Clarence Walden Allen and Clara Isolyn Jernigan Allen. She attended school in Pantego. On May 30, 1952, she married Henry Stoner Heffley, Jr. who died on February 23, 2011. Teen was a homemaker, and a member of Union Grove Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, jig saw puzzles and UNC Basketball. She volunteered at the senior center and was a member of the Havelock Community Club.

    Survivors include, her children, Connie Heffley Olsovsky (Wayne) of Havelock, Kathy Heffley Anderson (Mark) of Pine Knoll Shores, Kenneth Heffley (Karen) of Bath, and Craig Heffley (Michelle) of Durham, grandchildren, Matt Olsovsky (Shelly), Aaron Olsovsky, Sara D'Elia (Paul), Cameron Clinard (Cameron), Hunter Anderson, Kelly Heffley and Amanda Heffley, great grandchildren, Kendall, Colby, Hudson, Silas, Elora and Emmett.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
