Jeffrey Scott Kosto | Eastern NC Now

    Mr. Jeffrey Scott Kosto, age 64, a resident of Washington, NC died Friday April 11, 2025 at his home.

    A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday April 14, 2025 in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory and will be officiated by Rick Sawyer and Jack Keel.

    The family will receive friends Sunday April 13, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home of his daughter, Kristen Sawyer.

    Mr. Kosto was born in Allegheny County, PA on January 4, 1961 to the late Harry John Kosto, Jr and Hattie Stubbs Kosto. On May 10, 1986 he married Denise Cutler. He was a hard worker who enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren especially watching them play sports, loved to golf, and his dog Remi.

    Survivors include his wife Denise Kosto of the home, two daughters, Kristen Kosto Sawyer (Rick) of Washington, Kelli Kosto of Washington, two grandchildren, Breanna Sawyer, Bailee Sawyer, two brothers, Mike Kosto, Tom Kosto (Kathy), one sister, Diane Tucker, two sisters-in-law, Donna Woolard (Toby), Karen Ward (Ed), a brother-in-law, Wayne Cutler (Cecilia), several nieces and nephews, and coworkers he thought the world of.

    He is preceded in death by a brother, David Kosto, and his in-laws, Herman and Sylvia Cutler.
