Trump's USDA moves to cut illegal aliens off from food stamps (SNAP)

Under federal law, persons in the country illegally are not supposed to be receiving federal assistance programs. The US Department of Agriculture, which runs the Food Stamp (SNAP) program has issued a directive to states reminding them that illegal aliens are not eligible for the program and specifying steps that states, who run the program on a lower level, are required to take to assure that recipients are US citizens.

HUD issued a similar directive a few weeks ago directing states that federal housing benefits were not to be paid to illegal aliens. The Department of Labor has also sent out a letter to governors threatening to cut off federal funds for unemployment if unemployment benefits are given to illegal aliens.

THe money to these illegal alien freeloaders from NGOs also needs to be cut off. Trump is already terminating their federal grants, which is an important step, but the NGOs need to be prosecuted for harboring illegal aliens if they provide them money or places to stay or anything else from any type of funds. Catholic Charities has already announced that they are bugging out of this business, but there are others.

Illegal aliens are a huge financial burden to American taxpayers. They are not supposed to get these government handouts, which legal immigrants are also not entitled to. President Trump is to be applauded on cutting them off from these programs, which the previous regime was breaking the law to provide to them. Denmark has long had a policy of limiting welfare to illegal aliens to discourage them from coming, but in next door Germany, 63% of the welfare budget goes to the illegal alien migrants.
