    Diane Elizabeth Walker Pollard, age 75, a resident of Williamston, died Thursday, May 1, 2025, at her home.

    Diane was born on February 27, 1950, in Norfolk, VA, to the late Merlin Eugene Walker, Sr. and Florence Elizabeth McDaniel Walker. She attended school in Chesapeake at Oscar Smith School. On October 20, 1984, she married Johnny Richard Pollard. Diane worked for 20 years with BB&T in Williamston and retired in 2012 as a customer service representative with Martin County Child Support. She was a member of Williamston Church of Christ. Diane loved quilting, scrapbooking, cooking, and helping others. She was preceded in death by her brother Merlin Walker, Jr.

    Survivors include her husband, Johnny Richard Pollard of the home, sons, David James Hill, Jr. (Jennifer) of Kernersville and Torrey James Hill of Williamston, stepdaughter, Amy Pollard Woolard (David) of Williamston, sister, Pam Walker Evans of Chesapeake, VA, brother, Tommy Walker (Debra) of El Paso, TX, grandchildren, Brianna Hill, Dylan Hill, Kamryn Hill and Isabella Woolard, great grandchild, Paisley Hill.
