    Mary Helen Willis (Manis) aged 89 of Washington, NC, former resident of Severn, MD went home to live with her Lord and Savior on May 4,2025.

    Born May 7, 1935, in Tennessee to George Homer and Villar Victoria Manis, she was one of eight children.

    She is survived by her husband Bennie of 53 years, sons Charles A. Johns and Phillip W. Johns, Daughters Linda E. Johns, Judy L. Weber and Tonya N. (Willis) Ayers and sons in law Stephen M. Ayers and Peter G. Nielsen as well as long time family friend and "adopted" daughter Deborah J. Stephan. Additionally, she is survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and two sisters Joyce A. Redmond and Margaret Pearl Seal, as well as several nieces and nephews.

    Those left behind take comfort knowing she will be reunited with all the family that https://aulafip.unjfsc.edu.pe/ predeceased her, including her daughter Brenda J. Bloom Nielsen, Son in Laws David T. Bloom and Michael J Weber, Daughter-in-law Christine F. Johns her grandson Sean Nicholas Marti. She enjoyed a 35 year career as a Baltimore County Schools bus driver and spent her spare time singing in her church choir, gardening in flower beds, trips to casinos and enjoying time with family.

    Viewing and memorial services will be held in Washington, NC on May 8,2025 at 1PM at Paul Funeral Home and the Md viewing will be May 15,2025 at Myers-Durboraw in Westminster, Md from 6-8PM with a burial service at 10AM on May 16, 2025, and interment at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens immediately following. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association or https://redes.unitepc.edu.bo/ the American Heart Association.
