War on History: NYC tears down statue of Jefferson to put up hefty black woman | Eastern NC Now

The "woke" mind virus strikes again in its War on History.  This time it is on Times Square in New York City.  A statue of one of America's most important founding fathers and our third president, Thomas Jefferson, was removed.  What replaced it? A 12 foot statue of a generic overweight poorly dressed black woman.  Even the British press is making note of the insanity of this.  Heck, there are significant real black women they could have honored, but they did not do that.

Two statues of local historical figures remain on the square.  As to national historic figures, New York City also took down a statue of President Teddy Roosevelt.

The far left started with attacking Confederate monuments, but it has gone far beyond

that now.  All monuments that reflect America's history are potentially under attack, with our founding fathers and great explorers particularly in the far left's gunsights.
