Connell Hollis Bembridge | Eastern NC Now

    Connell Hollis Bembridge, 54 a resident of Williamston, died, Friday, June 6, 2025, at his home.

    A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington, with Thomas Barber officiating.

    The family will receive friends Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

    Connell was born on June 5, 1971, in Pitt County to the late Buster Elmer Bembridge and Deborah Carol Hollis Bembridge. He attended Bear Grass High School. Connell was a carpenter and painter. He loved fishing and singing, Connell loved shooting pool and was great at it, winning several tournaments. He was a UNC basketball fan and loved sports. He was a great father and brother, and his greatest love was his daughter Carly Jae. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robbie Edmonds, sisters, Colleen Bembridge and Jackie Early Edmonds, biological father, Edward Bellflower and stepfather, Wiley Edmonds.

    Survivors include his daughter, Carly Jae Bembridge of Williamston, stepchildren, Garrett Tate of Williamston, Ethan Tate of Phoenix, AZ and Ashlyn Cooper of Williamston, brothers, Ronald Hollis Bembridge of Angier and Chris Bembridge Robersonville, mother of his daughter, Cindy Bembridge of Williamston, niece, Makayla Leggett of Williamston.

    Memorial contributions may be made to Addiction Recovery Program of your choice.
