    Mr. Bobby Joe Perry, age 81, a resident of 182 Rock Road, Washington died Wednesday morning September 18, 2013 at Cross Creek Health Care Center in Swan Quarter, NC.

    A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM on Friday September 20, 2013 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens officiated by Travis Boyd and Steve Hill.

    Mr. Perry was born on February 4, 1932, son of the late Daniel Jake Perry and Delsie Sue Johnson Perry. On September 18, 1955, he married the former Linda Faye Qualls who survives. Mr. Perry served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a security officer with Fountain Powerboats. He attended the First Free Will Baptist Church in Washington and loved to work with his hands.

    In addition to his wife, Linda of the home, he is survived by his daughter: Kathy P. Waters and husband Robert of Washington; his grandchildren: Brandy Waters Wallace and husband Walton Andrew Wallace, Jr. and Justin Waters and his great grandchildren: Trey Robertson and Ashleigh Morgan Wallace. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister: Helen P. Alston and his brothers: Walter Perry and D.J. Perry, Jr.
