Censorship watch: French left wants to suppress media reports of migrant crime | Eastern NC Now

Statistics all over Europe show that illegal alien migrant "asylum seekers" are much more likely to commit crimes ranging from robbery to rape than the native born population.  That embarrasses the left which wants to be "tolerant" of illegal immigration.

Now the French left has a solution to their migrant crime problem, legislation to suppress discussion of it in the media.  Of course, some left leaning media will do that on their own for ideological reasons, but the left wants to silence everyone.  The far left Green Party, joined by some from the far left France Unbowed have introduced a bill to limit discussion of migrant crime in the media.

Marine LePen, leader of the populist nationalist anti-immigration right National Rally, and frontrunner in the polls for France's next president, strongly opposed the bill, responding "Political control and concealment of information are hallmarks of totalitarian ideologies"

Meanwhile, an analysis of government figures by the UK's Conservative Party shows that illegal alien boat migrants are 24 times more likely to go to prison than native born Brits.
