Many had feared that Pope Leo XIV's social justice views may impact the Church's positions on gender and marriage, but the new Pope has made it clear that he is still following a path of church teachings that also coincide with biology and common sense.  He has reaffirmed that there are only two genders, male and female, and that marriage is between one man and one woman.
