Teachers union pushes against parents rights and to thwart SCOTUS on gender | Eastern NC Now

doubles down on radical gender ideology

ENCNow

The far left National Education Association (NEA) teachers union has doubled down on pushing radical gender ideology and opposing parents rights after a landmark US Supreme Court decision guaranteed parents rights to opt their children out of radical gender ideology and deviant sexual materials in public schools.  At its national conference, the NEA passed a resolution to continue indoctrination of students on these subjects in spite of the Supreme Court ruling in Mahmood v. Taylor.

The radical NEA also passed a resolution saying they should at every opportunity call the Trump administration "facist" apparently not even knowing how to spell "fascist".  On immigration, they voted to support students who organize and protest against ICE raids and deportation, and supported citizenship by birth alone.

On the state level, the North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE) is an affiliate of the NEA.  It has a raised clinched fist, a symbol historically used by communists, as its official symbol.

These radical teachers unions have influence throughout education and are a concern right here in Beaufort County. In Raleigh, the Department of Public Instruction is full of their members who influence school policy, which they work overtime to impose on local school systems. You also have to wonder when committees of teachers are set up in local school systems for things like curriculum, how many on those committees are members of these radical teachers unions?
