Lillian Darlene Hardy Flowers | Eastern NC Now

    Lillian Darlene Hardy Flowers, 63 a resident of Chocowinity, died Friday July 11, 2025, at ECH Health Medical Center.

    A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM at 2nd Baptist Church with Pastor Josh Farley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

    Darlene was born on July 9, 1962, in Campbell County, KY to the late George Hardy and Selma Holleran Hardy. She attended Brackin High School. On March 3, 1983, she married John Robert Flowers, who preceded her in death on December 29, 2024. Darlene was the owner and operator along with her husband of Fox's Pizza Den, she retired in 2014. She loved going to church, and she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Darlene was a member of 2nd Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Ernie Hardy, Mildren Hardy, Donald Hardy, Delores Hardy, Charlotte Earnes and Wayne Hardy.

    Survivors include her children, Karen Jordan of Florence, SC, Kevin Flowers (Eva) of League City, TX, Jeannette Waters (Lee) of Chocowinity and her newest daughter Angie Ramsey of Chocowinity, Brothers, Ronald Hardy (Debbie) of Glencoe, KY and Jerry Hardy (Judy) of Germantown, KY, sisters, Janet Hardy of Glencoe, KY, Donna Caterson and Rachel Stewart both of Tyrone, GA, sister in law, Janet Hardy of Columbia, SC, grandchildren, Sarah, Faith, Albert, Tyler, Chelsea, Cody, Zach, Hailey, Hunter, Brooke, Tara and Leo, her faithful dog, Stumpy, her great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
