Stating the Obvious

BY:  BILL LEE

It seems to me that we desensitize ourselves when we need to be pragmatic in dealing with the people that are dying of starvation and those in this country that are trying to get a work visa.

Most people trying to get citizenship find the path difficult to navigate. Have you ever had to deal with Social Security, IRS, the government in general, whether it be on a local level or on the state and federal level? We all know the red tape. I feel as a country; we need to come to grips with this issue of immigration. We are all trying to pay our bills in a world that is becoming more and more expensive to live in. Again, we become desensitized, and we act like serpents, trying to survive in the name of survival. I've been homeless. I understand that there is no room for civility or ethics in a world that becomes harsh as you live in your car and try to scrape by. And for those that have no transportation or way to clean themselves, what is to become of them? What is the hope for the Immigrant that cannot find Asylum? There is only the underground and the parasites, the evil. The evil will come, and it will be relentless if we do not share in the prosperity of America with those that are vetted. America should allow them passport into this country and not make it so difficult to work here. Immigrants are a key part of this country and the reason for the USA's success, our diversity. It is America's strong point and with tolerance and intelligence, we shall persevere. Unlike the Native American, who could not persevere, let's not make that https://www.ptvedanandumeshmishra.com/ mistake again.

There is a huge difference in vetting of legal immigrants and illegal aliens.

Illegal aliens usually throw away their real ID before they cross the border. Reporters have found vast piles of discarded ID's on the south bank of the Rio Grande, for instance. After they cross the border, they are then "undocumented" so they can be anyone they want to be, give whatever name, whatever age, and whatever country of origin they think will most benefit them. Multiple European countries that have used other tests to discover true age, for example, have found that a majority of illegal aliens who claim to be unaccompanied minors are, in fact, adults lying about their age. In Sweden, it was as high as 90%. When authorities do not have the correct name, age, and country, how are they expected to do any meaningful vetting????? For those with criminal records or on terrorist lists, you can expect 100% of them to give false information to get into the country.

For legal immigrants, they are most of the time still in their home country, where it is easy to find out if they are giving their true identities and then to thoroughly check their background. These are people who can be properly vetted. Illegal aliens are NOT.

One thing that would help a lot when an illegal alien is processed is a polygraph.

Here is what is obvious to anyone with a working brain, "Bill":

As they used to say on the old "Rawhide" TV series: "Head 'em, up, and move 'em OUT!"

The real unfairness of the way our immigration system has been run is Biden allowing illegal aliens in line in front of legal immigrants who are trying to do it the right way. If we need more immigrants, there is a big waiting list of people who are applying properly, not trying to sneak to the head of the line. Legal immigrants should ALWAYS have precedence over those who do not respect our immigration laws.

On the immigration debate, I think of my former employee, Sergiu, when I was running an American-funded office in Moldova. Sergiu was our accountant, with a university degree and excellent written and spoken English. His wife was a law student, also with excellent English skills. They applied repeatedly to emigrate to the United States, but there were a lot more Moldovans applying to immigrate than there were immigration slots. Finally, he also applied to Canada. It turned out that accounting was a skill Canada was looking for in immigrants and he was accepted the first time he applied. As with legal US immigration, he and his wife went through extensive medical and background checks and he was required to pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), a test many Americans would have a hard time passing. He passed that test on the first try, getting his immigrant visa soon after. Although it meant I had to hire a new accountant, I was happy for Sergiu and his wife when they were able to board the plane to their new life in Prince Edward Island, Canada.

We have a screwed up immigration system, when people like Sergiu are left on waiting lists while unvetted illegal aliens who thumb their noses at our immigration laws are waved across the border, too many of them connected to foreign criminal gangs. I am happy that President Trump is working hard to fix that.

From multiple databases, there is NO "Bill Lee" or "William Lee" in Beaufort County. This is obviously a pseudonym for some leftwinger. He sounds a lot like the dude who used to call himself "Big Bob" on this site, but he also sounds a lot like Frankie Waters. Could it be? Whoever he or she is, they obviously are unable to respond to all the facts thrown at them in responses.

Victoria: As someone extremely close to the cost of Illegal Aliens in Beaufort County, I must declare, it is a stupendous amount of money wasted through fraud and abuse.

Without borders, we are not a country. America cannot be the world's welfare provider to every deadbeat who wants to show up on our doorstep. The open-borders advocates are simply anti-American. Biden's open borders policy was a conspiracy to destroy America. It is great that it is gone. Deportation of illegal aliens is the way to correct that problem.
