California shows how climate alarmist policy stiffles an economy as gas prices soar | Eastern NC Now

California pays more for energy due to its climate alarmist politics

ENCNow

Democrat climate alarmist policies are causing energy prices to rise in many Democrat run states well above the national average.  Another example of that is California where gasoline prices have hit $5 a gallon after two major oil companies threw in the towel after years of excessive red tape and closed their California refineries.  Governor Newsome's climate policies simply made them impractical to continue operating.

But it is not just gasoline.  California climate policies have also made their electricity some of the most expensive in the country.  No wonder both citizens and businesses are abandoning California in droves.

All of this is a lesson for America.  We do NOT need to go down the same path as California.
