moderate Democrat legislator supported bill to end sanctuary counties
Mecklenburg County's Democrat sanctuary county sheriff is under investigation by the SBI as the local Democrat District Attorney has initiated a proceeding to remove him from office. Now more details on one of the major complaints have been revealed.
It seems that the sheriff made threats against a Democrat legislator. Rep. Carla Cunningham (D-Mecklenburg) a black moderate, was supporting a bill to ban sanctuary counties, and vote to override Governor Stein's veto of it. Sheriff Garry McFadden threatened that she would "get hurt" if she did that.
