Massive protests rock Ireland against globalist government's climate taxes on fuel | Eastern NC Now

truckets and farmers blocking roads; massive protests in streets

ENCNow

Ireland's globalist government has piled fuel taxes and carbon taxes on its citizens to further the UN and European Union's "Net Zero CO2" climate alarmist agenda.  With fuel prices soaring from the Iran War, the Irish people are finally fed up in a big way with these outrageous taxes.  They are taking to the streets in huge numbers in protests.  Truckers and farmers are blocking highways.  They have essentially shut down the country for the last two days and say they intend to escalate.  The government has called in the army with armored vehicles.

This is a reminder of the "yellow vest" protest movement in France, also over "climate" taxes on fuel.  The massive protests went as far as burning government buildings as huge crowds shut down the country in protest of the taxes.  At one point, President Macron had a hellicopter on standby outside the presidential palace in case he had to flee. Ultimately, Macron waved a white flag and abolished those taxes, and they have stayed abolished.

And it also should be remembered that Swiss voters recently rejected climate taxes by an overwhelming landslide in a referendum.
