UPDATE: The California attorney representing Virginia Democrats at the Virginia Supreme Court in their gerrymander referendum case has been shot down in a one sentence order by the court. The Democrats had sought to overturn a post-referendum order by a trial court judge in Tazewell County that blocked certification of the referendum. Instead the Supreme Court upheld the Tazewell ruling and they did it without any dissent from any justice,
