teacher suspended for abusing student is elected as teachers union president | Eastern NC Now

was BLM activist and leader

ENCNow

The type of person that teachers unions elect to their leadership says a lot about their members.  A recent teachers union election in a major US city speaks volumes on that. The city was Seattle, Washington, and the new teachers union president is Ibijake Idawu, a special ed teacher in elementary grades.

Teachers unions seem to have a major preference for leadership from the hard left of the political spectrum.  Idawu filled the bill there.  She is a former activist and and leader of the radical BLM.

The only requirements to run for office were being a dues paid teachers union member and being employed in education.  On the latter issue, Idawu skated through on a technicality. Her employment with Seattle Public Schools is currently suspended.  She is under investigation for allegations she abused an autistic third grade student in her classroom.  There were bruises left on the child.  Idawu was placed on leave by the school system in December, and remains on leave, but was still considered eligible to run for and being elected as teachers union president.

Meanwhile, in Saskatchewan province, Canada, students were subjected to a sick sexualized drag presentation on what was supposed to be a field trip:

These teachers unions always seem up to no good. In December, we will get two teachers union members on our school board. How could GOP primary voters do that?
