Cheryle Jean Ange | Eastern NC Now

    Mrs. Cheryle Jean Ange, age 73, a resident of Plymouth, NC died Tuesday June 2, 2026, at her home with family by her side.

    A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday June 5, 2026, at the Ange Family Cemetery located at the home. The service will be officiated by Wyatt Harvey.

    The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday June 4, 2026, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the cemetery following the service.

    Cheryle was born in Beaufort County on August 5, 1952, daughter of the late Cyril Corona Ange and the late Mildred Mae Boyd Ange. She was a 1970 graduate of Plymouth High School and continued her education at Lenoir Community College where she earned her associates degree as a lab technician. She worked at Washington County Hospital and Martin, Tyrell, Washington Health Department. She enjoyed working in her yard, having family at her home and cooking, especially barbecue chicken on the grill. She was a member of Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church.

    Survivors include a son: David E. Clark, Jr. and his wife Dottie of Plymouth; a brother: Alonza Jordan "Al" Ange and his wife Phyllis of Plymouth; grandchildren: Candace Britt and her husband Tyler of Plymouth, David E. Clark III and his wife Autumn of Vanceboro, and Lucas Clark and his wife Elizabeth of Rich Square; and nieces Jennifer Ange Marrow of Plymouth and Christy Ange Gardner and her husband Doug of Plymouth. Cheryle was predeceased, along with her parents by a sister: Linda Carol Ange Crivello
