woke judge fines teacher $200K+ for refusing to use student's "preferred pronouns" | Eastern NC Now

A "woke" judge has imposed a massive fine against a Christian public school teacher who refused to use the "preferred pronouns" and new name of a biological female student who now proclaimed that she thought she was a boy.  The teacher, Enoch Burke had previously been jailed for contempt of court over the incident and fired from his teaching job.  Burke observed that calling a girl a boy and using a fake name were contrary to his religious beliefs.  The case pitted long held legal standards of free speech and religious liberty against woke concepts of "trans rights".

Burke's supporters charged that what happened to him was the result of "an ideologically driven judicial process." High Court Judge  Brian Cregan never even considered the Constitutional rights of Burke, only focused and how to punish him, imposing a massive fine of 210,000 euros.  

While this kangaroo court travesty happened in Ireland,  there are many in America's Democrat Party who would like to see the same standards of "justice" imposed here.

Ireland's Constitution specifically guarantees "freedom of conscience and free profession and practice of religion" to every citizen.  It has no provisions whatsoever on "trans rights".  The principal of Wilson's Hospital School where Burke taught had instructed teachers that they were "expected" to refer to "transitioning" students by their preferred pronouns and name.

Meanwhile, an American "transgender", a biological man who claims to think he is a woman, who fled America to Europe because of Trump's policies, now says he fears for his life in the Dutch asylum center where he is now housed because of the strongly anti-homosexual culture of the many Muslims residing there.
