Several weeks ago Duke Energy presented a report about the potential use of the Chocowinity Industrial Park, and the fact that what we have there is a fabulous piece of business real estate that could attract many hundreds of new jobs.

Here is my line of thinking.
The lame-duck Beaufort County Jail Committee met April 9 and continued its push to ramrod a new jail on the taxpayers before the upcoming elections, when many believe the current majority of one vote will be reversed.
