The good news is that the Hurricane center is not using the words Tropical event, they are using the words Sub-tropical (Nor'easter in comparison) which means rain, wind, minor inundation.

The main part of this Nor'easter like storm will impact us from about 7:00pm tonight through 7:00am tomorrow morning.

Here is the latest briefing from the NWS concerning the incoming storm. It appears the storm will be tracking further North than originally expected.

Please stay weather aware over the weekend for a possible Nor'easter which could form just off shore in South Carolina and begin moving Northwest next Wednesday and could provide a very wet and windy problem here in Beaufort County for about 36 hours.

Enjoy the weather now because in twenty-four hours it will not look like this. I just got off the phone with the NWS and they informed me that they may or may not issue a winter weather advisory for travel beginning 4:00pm tomorrow, Saturday.
