Kathy Manos Penn really likes Billy Joel, which is cool when anyone is passionate for a credible artist, who communicates directly to the better angels of an individual's spirit.

I feel the same way about Led Zeppelin: beaufortcountynow.com - This concert about a year before drummer John Bonham's death that ended the band. How would anyone replace John Bonham.

Does North Carolina's U.S. Senator not get how important it is to secure the Southern Border, especially when congress refuses to do its job to do so?

Senator Tillis boasts of a special bipartisan relationship with many senators. Could the North Carolina Senator not prevail upon these "good (Democratic Socialist) friends" to secure our sovereign borders after all these years?

The Hood came up with the plan the chairman run "at large", and then, after speaking with me, has advocated strenuously for the vice-chairman also running at large.

My motive for the vice chairman running at large has nothing to do with the vice-chairman being an important position; it is not. My agenda for the vice-chairman running at large is to give the voters of Beaufort County yet another vote in four years with The Hood plan of the chairman running at large.

The plan offered by some would be 7 districts for 7 commissioners, with the electorate of Beaufort County receiving one vote for their county commissioner every four years.

The Hood plan, with my help, would be 7 commissioners: 5 commissioners running in 5 districts (staggered voting with the electorate getting 1 vote every 4 years), with to board seats (constituting the chairman an vice-chairman positions set at staggered terms) offering the electorate two more votes every four years.

The Chairman /Vice-Chairman Plan Elected At-Large would do two good things for the Beaufort County electorate: 1) It would give the electorate 3 votes for county commissioner every 4 years, rather than 1 vote every 4 years by the 7 District Plan; 2) It would reduce special interest co-mingling with the supposed wisdom of the elected one representative, who would be far easier to control by special interest resources.

I was advised that the Hand Maiden Women were group messaging for Women's Suffrage, which occurred about 99 years ago, to which, I opined to a Liberal that took umbrage with my concise opinion that these women were true patriots when I asserted the opposite. My words below:

It has nothing to do with their group messaging at an political event regarding the path of governing for 2019, which on its face is rather stupid. It is just that there is no patriotism amongst them ... not a smidgen.

There is copious stupidity ... vacuous eyes searching for direction, and then, they get played by the man they hate with all their TDS passion.

It was funny. What a stupid bunch, and everyone of them a Democratic Socialist.

The Varcoe letter listed above is pure fantasy, a narrative of concluding fiction; no discernible truth in it in any identifiable measure.

My futile objective in meeting with the Beaufort County GOP was to enlist the help of the party to entice Nominal Republican Frankie Waters to engage in dialogue. that is all that I proffered, however, I enthusiastically proffered it, which is my nature to do so.

When asked by one of the members who would be my choice to be chairman, I offered the name of Hood Richardson even though I did concede that of all the commissioners, from both parties, The Hood and I were eminently more qualified than all other commissioners.

The reason that I offered the person of The Hood over myself is that Hood now has seniority over myself, has worked harder than any commissioner since 1996, and quite frankly deserved to be the first Conservative ever elected chairman of the Beaufort County Commission. Of course, I would be the second Conservative ever elected chairman, understanding that one of the nominal Republicans would probably serve as chairman somewhere in between.

Now, these nominal Republican commissioners will continue to only caucus with liberal Democrats; so, the Beaufort County GOP, regardless of any good intentions, were of no consequent whatsoever.
