If there is a strike: Immediately fire all those that strike and give the students their tuition money back, and then re-assign them to other classes for free, further making their ability to take lost class a priority for free again.

Then make sure that policy is written that if educators refuse to work, then they are summarily fired for bad conduct.

I swear B.T., I have had a terrible cold, which began 34 hours before my first, great return county commissioner meeting, where I hacked, sputtered and wheezed, continuing through the stock market and the Dow yet crashing thousands of more points, and now, your comment was the first belly laugh I have had all week, and I thank-you.

Since Liberals believe that our nation's immigration statutes and policy are written upon the base of the Statue of Liberty in poem form, maybe we should continue that Liberal /Socialist tradition and extend it to other levels of governing by that one poem regarding all Animal Control statutes and policy.

I remember this lady senator sitting in judgement of Judge Brett Kavanaugh during his hearing for Supreme Court justice. She was the one that said Brett Kavanaugh was guilty because a woman, who was alleged she fondled against her will 35 years earlier, accused him of an event that where she could not remember where it happened; she could not remember any credible witnesses, and never told anyone that it happened, and that all men should just "shut up" about it if they struggled with that accusation as credible.

Yes, she is a real smart Democrat Senator.

Bush 41 may not have been a hardened Conservative, but he was a hard core patriot, and all man. Torpedo bombers were not known to have a long life expectancy (see battle of Midway), when 41 signed to serve and fly in the Pacific Theater.

He was a good, brave man, and we are fortunate to have had his service to our nation in the military and our government.

This post was picked up by another local publication, and there were many comments, where I did answer one from a commenting individual, whose was concerned that I act in a civil manner, where I did answer this:

There was that time, however, when the Liberal Majority thought it wise to allocate 2 million dollars of tax payer money to build the Southwest County Jail with no advance funding in place.

Kind of like buying a house, with no real financing or cash, except that 10% option money that one will never get back, but, you put that "other people's money" down anyway. That instance, I did state openly with the cameras rolling, that my fellow commissioners were "the stupidest board of county commissioners that I had ever served with and I have served with many".

If I remember correctly, that was a Republican majority trying to govern Beaufort County as well.

Also, if memory serves me correctly, this was the same board that conspicuously stood idle against the strenuously advocating advice of The Hood and myself to save the people's hospital from giving their hospital to Vidant for 9 million dollars, so Vidant could enjoy their current monopoly, when we had a 30 million dollar lease on the table to Community Health Systems, where Beaufort County would keep their then 60,000,000.00 hospital plant and the 30 million dollars.

This would have never happened if we had anything close to a Conservative Majority.

Bad government does not exist without the foolish enterprise of poor representatives elected by those that really want or need them there.

I wouldn't called them "stupid", but, one could easily make the argument, by the definition of Representative Government, that these voters were heavily on the foolish side in these instances.

These two terrible examples constituted tens of millions of lost wealth of the tax paying citizens of Beaufort County.

I have not thought about Dave Mason in a long time. And, I had forgotten that he did that song.

I saw Dave Mason in concert as a warm-up guest for Kenny Loggins at Elon College in 1970 something.

I was with my wife; then we drove to the Blue Ridge Mountains and camped out for a few nights. I think it was mid to late Autumn and very cold at 4700 feet above sea level. It was fun, an adventure. Youth, huh?
