Our government is a system of checks and balances. It's worked well for 250 years. Currently, our government is out of balance. Way out. The trump administration needs to be reigned before we lose the ability.

My objection isn't about policy, it's about attacking the system in a way that the public no longer has the opportunity vote on the policy.Thats the issue. Unchecked, these people will come for everyone and any one who speaks against them.
Hold your nose and vote blue. In 2 years, it may be too late.

Actually, it wasn't. in 2024, the country was coming out of COVID with all the problems it caused globally. During 2024 we began to recover and investments made a lot of money and things were good. When Trump took over the good times were back and investments have continued to grow. We are all making money.

IMO COVID cost Trump the 2020 election because his job required to him do what's best for the country, not him personally. He wasn't equipped to deal with a global problem like COVID and it sank him.

That my friends is the main reason I can't support him or MAGA. When things are good, they do OK, when the chips are down, they look out for themselves.

The thing is, Thom is correct. The 2 months between Nov 2026 and Jan. 2027 will be the most difficult months in our history since the civil war.

If republicans keep control of the legislature - no problems the people have spoken, all is well.

If democrats win either chamber or both chambers, in the exact same election, Trump will lose his mind. Fraud. Cheating. Dead people voting. National emergency. Marshal law. Congress refusing to seat the newly elected. The country goes up in flames.

I don't claim to predict the future, but this one is obvious. It won't look like J6, but few think this administration will play by the rules.
