Stan: I guess dancing is easier than clearing a path.

Speaking in clichés: How about this? "...kids would have a better outcome if the adults didn't act like [crooks]." Or "...better outcome if adults didn't act like [rubber stamp zombies]."

Hey cliché speaking can be fun. How about if some of our board members could take control of their boards and do their damned jobs instead of dancing on the end of their puppet strings.

I just did a quick read of this article before starting on a full day. As someone that follows the meetings on the school videos this is dead on the money. Perfect title, too.

Does BBob say this stupid stuff on purpose or does it come natural? I know he's too politically biased to acknowledge Ted Cruz; most likely doesn't know who Octaviano Larrazola and Richard Cavazos are. Luis Alvarez or Mario Molina? Doubtful, science is not his thing. He should have remembered Rita Moreno or Joan Baez! For me Salma Hayek and Raquel Welch readily come to mind.

Stan: The politics of 4 to 3. Of that 4 majority, 2 are Democrats and 2 are Democrats that changed registration to Republican in order to get elected. Essentially, they are 4 Democrats. But you know that more than most.

The mind-blowing thing about this is, the local Republican Party supports the alliance with the Democrats and opposes the 3 Republicans on the county commission adhering to the Republican platform. In other words, the official local Republicans support the undocumented Democrat commissioners instead of the Republican commissioners.

All this personal vendetta politics is costing taxpayers money and worse. It's so crazy it's almost unbelievable. Throw in the familial relations between the various boards and a school superintendent working on his professional resume at local folk's expense and it really gets convoluted. But no worries, it's only hard-earned public money.

W: Due to the matrimonial relations between some of the various board members I suspect some members had a lot more knowledge of what as up than others. There's no telling how tangled this web really is.

Ever notice how these episodes of poor planning and lack of preparation always ends up costing the taxpaying citizens of Beaufort County money?

If BBob was truly for merit he would not be advocating for DEI policies. He seems to have the philosophy of Canadian wokester Justin Trudeau.

Because of the schizophrenic voting of North Carolina and Beaufort County citizens we have elected Trump to take care of this woke DEI junk at the federal level, but we are left at the mercy of it at home in places like Beaufort County Community College.

Just considering the very last-minute pardons: Two traitors and the ENTIRE Biden crime family for anything they MAY have done. This is really, really low.

Cgirl - It looks like criminal Joe has jumped from pardons straight to blanket immunity.

Interesting. When faced with having to defend his Red Communist Chinese voting system that has been imposed on Beaufort County, B Bob even has to abandon his knee jerk reaction race card.

Regarding whoever is working for who concerning the School Board, it appears nothing has changed since the last election. Cheeseman and his assistant are still dead center with their sock puppet chairman, while a few of their favorites are in fairly close proximity, and members not on the favorite list are mingled with the staff or placed on the planet Pluto. No sign of the board lawyer, but I hear he is a superintendent call away in Durham if he is not preoccupied with his Democratic Party activism. This is well beyond embarrassing. Being a Beaufort County resident, it hurts to see what has become of my county. I don't recall seeing anything like this.

What a nightmare for people of sane rural Illinois and sane rural Oregon counties to be dominated by the insanity coming out of Chicago and Portland. We here in eastern Carolina are also feeling that more and more in a state dominated by Raleigh/Durham, Charlotte and Greensboro. If need be, where could we even try to go?
Commented: Sunday, January 19th, 2025 @ 9:22 am By: Van Zant
I knew it was bad. It's even worse than I thought. What a tangled web.

There seems to be lots of cart before the horse planning on this project. Also, lots of interesting interplay between three boards and husband and wife board connections. Many folks I talk with aren't understanding much of this and are wanting more transparency. I guess that's not the Beaufort County way. I suppose we can expect more delays, more cost along the way, and more ongoing side deals.

I wonder where the saturation point for fast food restaurants is. That must be the way to go for the Beaufort County economic development wizards. Granting that this pertains to some parts of the county more than others. Although Dollar Generals are found all over.

Next, we need to restore the military to a focus on readiness instead of being a laboratory for woke activism. This is one more aspect of national security and is one more thing that makes a great deal of difference for having a healthy nation state.

I know where BC Industrial Park South is.
Commented: Tuesday, January 14th, 2025 @ 12:52 pm By: Van Zant
I've observed there is a lot of corruption at the federal, state AND local levels.

I thought we established an industrial park so we would not have industry next to our houses (or in place of them) but might have it somewhere. Munition factory? Sounds like a great place to get a job. Gun manufacturing would be good, too. I might even apply for any such openings if they were here. Maybe some of my family members could stay home instead of being forced to leave. But no, our choice is make do here or go somewhere else.

I'll continue to pray for the people of California. They're not all crazy, and the ones that are crazy in many instances know not what they do.

All I know is that before Giuliani was mayor, I did not feel safe on the subway. Before Rudi I dreaded Penn Station. After Rudi, traveling in New York City was a pleasure. LA seems to be in a similar pre-Rudi situation. Blue state politics = disaster.

It seems we have an industrial park, but county leadership doesn't particularly want any industry.

It has been very clear that the Biden Administration has been a bunch of authoritarian bullies. Bravo to Zuckerberg for coming clean about it and for his recent revelations about free speech. I do have to wonder if, for instance Genghis Khan were elected four years from now, would Zuk perhaps have another revelation.

California is one of the highest taxed states in the country. I believe they have THE highest income tax rates. Yet they have massive infrastructure problems. Blue state blamers cite Trump, climate change and the boogie man. Children with average intelligence could come up with better than that.

Even mealy mouth Murphy never called January 6th an insurrection. That incorrect term is only used by Nancy Pelosi, Liz Cheney and the Big Boobs of the world.

Concerning the illegal alien problem, we should not be aiding countries that are undermining our own security.

CV: Yeah, I can feel the hate. It's ironic observing how leftist fanatics use children as props for their crazy ideas. It's sad seeing what those children have to deal with for the rest of their lives as a result of this craziness.
Commented: Sunday, December 29th, 2024 @ 2:18 pm By: Van Zant
Stan: One of my biggest differences with BB is that he regularly ascribes hate as the motivation for the people he disagrees with. That's insulting.

I also find it unconscionable that anyone could rationalize the practice of permanently physically mutilating confused children. Whether the adult who has gone through this process turns out to have a homosexual or heterosexual orientation, they are left with a mutilated body that cannot be returned to a healthy state. That is monstrous cruelty.
Commented: Sunday, December 29th, 2024 @ 10:53 am By: Van Zant
Stan: Without such BB humanitarian guidance do you suppose a barbarian like me could have come to such profound conclusions??? Now, can the left figure out that men in drag shouldn't bash women's heads in during competitive sports events and grownups shouldn't mutilate the bodies of children for profit.

Concerning the entity claiming this article is full of lies - Two things: 1) More convoluted dishonesty 2) The reason the disloyalty performed by the perpetrators is not addressed is because they cannot address it, since they are guilty of it.

My take on this is that the people embroiled in this hostility probably don't care about anything other than their petty battle. To people of good will on the outside looking in, it's just an off the rails local party doing way more harm than good to the locality they reside in. Expressed in one word: Disgraceful. How anyone could behave like this and delude themselves into thinking they are doing good in the community is beyond me. That makes a person wonder if doing good in the community is even what the motivation is for some of these people. The primary motivation must be just the personal issues. Also, in some instances personal gain.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised about anything in Beaufort County politics. I've been hearing for quite a while that the Beaufort County School Board Attorney was also the Chairman of the Durham County Democrat Party. Even though I thought it very odd that our attorney lived in Durham County and worked in Wake County, I figured the rest must be an exaggeration. I'll NEVER doubt again. I checked today. Sure enough, there Chairman Rawson is - smiling face and name on the Durham County Democrat Party site.

I'm wondering. How does a majority Republican Beaufort County Board hire a triad Democrat activist lawyer? Did they do ANY research beyond the superintendent's recommendation?
