Good points can always be found in the writings of Beaufort County's Senior Commissioner, chief among those fine points could well be: Don't tread too long on the wrong side of The Hood.

Now for the point I wish to make: There are malleable pockets of folks within Beaufort County, mostly around Washington and on both sides of the Pamlico River, where these pockets of the public are intellectually governed by the status quo of the inane.

That status quo, where local influencers throw real knowledge to wind, and spend great effort to teach others how to think, or in most cases, the lack thereof, and "MAN", it is readily apparent to the rest of us who can, and do think for ourselves ... you know ... that whole original thought thing.

This lack of real gut intellect influencing far too many has held Beaufort County back for, in my functional experience determining this estimation, multiple of decades, and let me also be clear on this one evolving reality: Many, if not most of the outsiders that move here, most leaving dysfunction communities far worse than Beaufort County, are not elevating that status quo intellect level, and in many cases are diminishing the core knowledge level of this county as a whole.

My word of advice to everyone, including myself: Never stop learning real stuff, and stop following people with extra forceful characteristic traits, you know who they are; those that are extra conditioned to gain acceptance by promoting and then inhabiting status quo - that safe space where original thought goes to die. My advice: Grow your own knowledge level, and look within yourself for those "better angels," where making meaningful decisions defines your core person ... especially about where you might gain that intellect of who is honest, decent and smart enough to lead OUR People forward to a more sustainable tomorrow.

Real knowledge is the key you, our survivability as a Representative Republic, and if you accept the dishonest as real, you need to seriously adjust your path, and please, for the rest of us: Do it quickly! Time is growing short.

At some point, Americans will need to vote for enough honest, patriotic politicians to successfully remove America's First Idiot President from office, and not because he is egregiously stupid, but because Joe the Fool has always been a liar and immensely corrupt, and there is no place for corruption, especially at this scale, in American politics at any level of governing.

The Biden Crime Syndicate, even though they are all malleable Democratic Socialists, are the templates of the worst that can be elected, and sadly: What does that say about those that found that simple minded space to vote for this corrupt fool.

I have long stated that our nation's public education system is broken, and the post secondary education system is largely worse. Until we fix this monumental mess, we, as a People, we always eventually revert to putting non patriot fools in office: first it was Hussein Obama; now Slow Joe Biden.

Much damage has occurred to the fabric of who we should be as a people because of those two non patriots.

Beaufort County Commissioner John Rebholz: Bidenflation is destroying many hardworking American's way of life, which speaks directly to the fact that Democratic Socialist policies are bad for those of us who truly pull the freight here in Beaufort County.

Locally, with the proud Center /Left Coalition of the Beaufort County Board of Commissioners ruling at the behest of Beaufort County's bureaucracy, you, as a county commissioner of that coalition, are part of the problem, where Democratic Socialist policies are accepted as today's inescapable mode of governing in Washington, DC and Beaufort County.

If Leftist governing is truly the full reason behind Bidenflation, then it stands to Right reasoning that only more able Conservatives' measures will work to STOP this aberration of the proper common sense allocation of the People's money wisely and well.

I have an unorganized list of the perfect songs. "Brothers in Arms" is on that short list growing slower longer.

Wonderful melody, both simple and complex in layers. I prefer the more difficult version to play because in renders out a greater upswing in mood at critical points of this song that has is more of a down tone at its core melody.

I saw this film decades ago, and thought: This is a fair movie with an interesting concept - that humankind would be a giant tribe of idiots in 500 years.

America's First Idiot President ( www.beaufortcountynow.com ) has been extolling the permanent fix to the overturning of Roe v Wade by "codifying" Abortion on Demand in congress.

This may work, but could be overturned by the Supreme Court due to some 10th Amendment issues, as making federal law to insure Abortion on Demand would trample the rights of individual states, all for the benefit of the Leftist whim.

Leftists would be wise to amend the US Constitution instead.

The other fix is just to elect a large grouping of Leftists into every state government, and then one could insure Abortion into every state, or, better yet, also amend every state constitution to allow Abortion on Demand.

That would surely work ... at least for a while.

As a county commissioner for nearly 22 years, I have been a member of the NCACC (North Carolina Association of County Commissioner) for nearly 22 years.

At this point in my knowledge of what is intrinsic in what I do, I often wonder does the NCACC do more harm than good, thereby me eventually questioning their need to exist.
