Congress must do all it can to get the price of diesel down. It won’t be easy.

Republicans will have plenty of time to lick their wounds and democrats best make sure they do not go on a retribution tour as I fear some of them will. I'd like to see the government do better job on emigration, negotiate with Iran to end the war without them getting a nuke, shore up SS and Medicare and act like climate change is the existential threat it is. Hopefully the hate fest is over, and both sides can govern better.

Strangely all this talk started when the orange man rose to power. After winning in 2016 trump, maga, Christian Nationalist (think project 2025) have worked hard to discredit elections they actually won. Why?
Because when you win an election you have to govern. Want to get re-elected? Have good ideas. Help people reach their potential. Remove obstacles to success. Create, better schools, healthcare, hospitals and infrastructure. Lead through example. MAGA has failed on so many levels re-election is at best problematic. So now they attack the process. It’s all they got.

It was in the primary, not the general election.
Bottom line, there is enough sleaze on to go around on both sides. To suggest either has the moral high ground would be foolish. Maga has always had an advantage because they were the on the outside. Now they have an actual record in government. On Nov. 3, we will find out what people think.
