Back on planet earth, Mike Whetley, has a convicted sex offender deliver the prayer at his latest rally.

Never throw that first stone fellas. MAGA lives in a glass house.

Sounds like an exciting outcome. Your children are gonna love it!

But in America Mr. Tyson is a free man enabling the very issue that consumes you.
Commented: Thursday, September 10th, 2026 @ 2:54 pm By: big Bob
BH we both know it never happens. It’s not just farmers. The owners of Tyson chicken should all be in jail. If we took it one step further, you are supporting illegal immigration with every McNugget you eat.
But I’m glad you see my point. Once wetake the racism out of the equation, we can begin to see love the problem.

More like we look away because the citizens profiting look just like us.
A good example:

Or arrest the rich citizens who promote illegal immigration by profiting from cheap labor.

We could try that.

Just pointing out the obvious.

Yet republicans and trump have done very well in the past 20 years. Hard to cry fraud when you win, except if you're about to lose.

We get it

Does it mention 49 million barrels of oil are burned each day? Everyday? If not, any conclusions it makes are invalid.

Trump votes by mail.
You can’t have it both ways.
He won in 16
Lost in 20
Won in 24.
Republicans have done well during this time.
All under the same election rules.

How do you argue that the system is corrupt when your guys keep winning?

Makes you sound like an extremist that won, failed miserably at governing, but wants to keep power against the will of the voter now that it appears voters are weary and might change direction.
That’s not patriotic, that’s f-ed up.

Voting by mail increases participation and is proven safe and secure.
Trump votes by mail.

Again, thank you for making my point.

In November, voters should consider carefully each candidate and ask, will that person work to benefit the things that are important to me? Or are they pushing a self-serving agenda that continues down the rabbit hole of outrage and division.
Remember, in an election, nobody gets everything they want, anyone who tells you different can't be trusted.

Extremism:
I purposefully stayed away from attacks on one side or the other to point out that extremism has certain characteristics and is problematic regardless of the source.

As long as it's me against you, each will see the other as a whack-o and keep marching down the rabbit hole to our own detriment.

History teaches us that unless enough of to push back against extremism, the outcome will be f-ing ugly.

Fact:
Trump votes by mail.
Good enough for him, good enough for us.

Another feature of extremism (left of right):
Ideology over human beings.

Extremists are willing to dehumanize others to further their ideology or world view. Today it's worse than ever. Technology allows us to sit behind a keyboard and say awful things we likely would not say in the public square. Boundaries get pushed; real people get hurt.

Every extremist works off this concept of pitting one group against another.

Another feature of extremism (left or right):
Manufacturing outrage.

Since we tend to only access media sources we agree with, those sources, which must turn a profit, understand that the best way to increase traffic or viewership is to amplify certain points of view to keep their audience coming back for more. The truth no longer matters. It's about "clicks."

Social media has perfected this method by keeping us outraged over this, that, or the other thing to the point nobody knows what's going on. We lurch from outrage to outrage as we are taken advantage of by people whose primary concern is personal gain.

Every extremist knows that fear, makes them relevant.

And that brings up another feature of extremism. Extremists tend to source their information from those they agree with. In reality, every story has 3 sides, the left, the right and the truth. Extremists aren't interested in the truth. They tend to simplify an issue leaving out the very real complexities we all face in life.
Example: CV points out that Americans are with conservatives on illegal immigration. On one hand that appears true, however when Americans see citizens in Minnesota being shot in the street, kids torn from their parents, and masked gunmen patrolling their neighborhoods, support for this activity drops.
Extremists want you to believe life is black and white. Everyone reading this knows that isn't true.

Your worried cause you just make it up. Both parties have their extremists. The BO is a far right-wing publication that 80% of the country would be at odds with. The democrats have their version of it on the far left.

Both sides make up stuff about each other to appear normal. Extremists are not the norm, hence why we call them extremist.
Maybe we should be working together to solve our common problems.

Two interesting developments:

The U.S. war in Iran has depleted stocks of key air defense weapons, including ballistic missile interceptors -- a potential constraint for President Donald Trump as he weighs the prospect of renewing the conflict.
A U.S. official, who would not discuss numerical estimates, told ABC News that both stockpiles "are extremely low."

John Ratcliffe (CIA) flies to Russia to tell them not to attack NATO.

Looks like our 4F commander in chief is ...is um...in over his head.

In the last 3 presidential election cycles the republican won twice, the democrat one once. In fact, if you look at the recent history of presidential elections it's a pretty even split.
Kennedy, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, Trump, Biden Trump.

The notion of institutional cheating just doesn't hold water.

Considering the current president has the emotional intelligence of a 12-year-old and has only been told "no" once in his life (2020); might that have something to do with so called election fraud?

Read my post carefully...extremist on both sides. Anyone wanting communism in the US is an extremist. I would not vote for them. However, they are allowed to make their pitch as we are allowed to reject it at the ballot box.

I understand some of you are still butthurt over the GF murder. The reaction scared you. But it needed to happen. Left or right, the police do not get a pass for murdering citizens in the street. (J6 - A. Babbitt doesn't count because she was not in the street, but unlawfully rioting in the capitol building)

That's disingenuous Stan.
The left stands against authoritarianism and fascism and believes we all have the same rights and responsibilities. However, I will say, neither the far right nor far left can run the country well. Both make good points now and again, but neither can govern effectively.

If Trump applies pressure to cancel or disrupt the states from holding elections, the country will burn down. Both sides will suffer greatly. I hope there are enough current leaders to stand up and let the people speak at the polls, regardless of the outcome.
Commented: Monday, August 24th, 2026 @ 12:09 pm By: big Bob
That is true, however I think it’s a real possibility. Plans are in the works. Options being discussed. J6 caught most by surprise. It will look different this time but goal is the same. Retain power against the will of the voter.

I wouldn't lump everyone together. In America ,there is plenty of violence to go around. Armed by republican gun laws we can easily point to either side. Subtract out the lunatics, we see that people on the left fight for justice. On the right, white supremacy.

Honestly, I dont think the mid terms are gonna happen on schedule. I think trump, seeing the hand writing on the wall, will declare an "emergency" and keep republicans in power against the will of the people.

Id say its 50/50 right now. If it happens the contrry will burn down but I dont think he cares. Its about him, not us.

No one can deny that the deficit has grown under most administrations. Under trump, it has grown much larger. Trump has done nothing to bring it down. That is just a fact.

Deficits are at an all-time high. Trump collects less in taxes but spends more. A lot more. Personally, I think he will be remembered as the next Herbert Hooverand because the house of cards is likely about to crash. But clearly a new ballroom and transgender issues are more important so carry on.

As usual, Henry, is completely unencumbered by the thought process. The current reaction at the polls by progressive democrats is in response to the oligarchs living large at our expense. Trump makes 2 billion last year while:
inflation
housing
social security
health care
medicare
endless Middle East war
Food born illness
public health
..get zero attention. The super rich got tax cuts while the rest of us wait 4-6 months for a doctor appointment then fight with the insurance company over payment. The Hen lives a good life, but is rather predictable.

I'm saying if you want to slow/stop illegal immigration you need to get tough on "citizens" you promote and profit from it.
