Paper tiger ... Conservatives are not gonna do much if anything with schools, to change secular studies ... And to compare educational preferences and disputes to the Nazi's is absurd. You should rail about property taxes, and lazy people getting government handouts, Hospital industrial complex... There is no grand conspiracy to turn public school system into brown shirts of the late 30's and early 40s. And who is the leader of the of this grand scheme?

Cool that Powell gives cover to the racist democrats... LBJ's comments tell you all you need to know about the democrat party's opinion of blacks, and the efforts that keep them voting for dems... And the detainees that were interrogated or tortured depending on what you believe torture is... was not a racial issue. To color your opponent's as evil all the time, isn't reality, and re writing history to fit your politics isn't either. And terrorists are not soldiers. Never have been.

Concerned Taxpayer, different tactics are utilized during the budget process. Rep Kidwell lets his objections be known and they all come to the table for negotiations. Kidwell is a champion of the people. Richardson just yells randomly to make the taxpayers think he is a champion for them. He is not. He always wants to know if the meeting is being live-streamed before he speaks. He left the budget meeting after making an absurd comment. Didn’t stay for the process because he had his conservative PAC meeting. As he said, “politics is a hobby” for him. We the people are not here for his entertainment.

Get off your soap box and bother someone else. From what I see, she has implemented changes to better serve the citizens of Beaufort County and customers. You have been county commissioner for 27 years, yet you have never voted for a budget. You have deceived the Beaufort County citizens. Your dereliction of duty has failed the people in this county. You are an embarrassment to the people in this county across the state. You are being paid by the taxpayers yet you only work for your own agenda. You have cost the taxpayers money and deterred businesses from coming to Beaufort County. We need commissioners that build our community for our families, children, and grandchildren. You sir, have failed the people. Instead of spreading lies and misinformation, do your job. Instead of attacking others, uphold your own oath of office, which you have failed to do.

I'm no Nostradamus but I predicted the downfall of Aurora in 1974.I told people that they was no way you could mine at the depth they were doing and not disturb the aquifer. As I studied more I said that there was a possibility of polluting the waterways. Slowly over the years my predictions came to life.with Pollutants come the the chance of cancer and that has happened also.

Wow, Finally a recollection that meshes with mine. Living in Atl at the time I knew I could go whenever I wanted so I didn't. I can only remember one concert I went to. It was for Jean Luc Ponty. Awesome show! The seats that I recall were church pews with cushions but without without legs so they were flat on the floor. You were so close to the artist! In one break I went for a bucket of beer and saw 2 members of Kansas playing pinball. One show you didn't mention was the Sex Pistols. Their first US appearance. I had a friend try to convince me to go with him but I wasn't a fan so missed that experience.
