Paper tiger ... Conservatives are not gonna do much if anything with schools, to change secular studies ... And to compare educational preferences and disputes to the Nazi's is absurd. You should rail about property taxes, and lazy people getting government handouts, Hospital industrial complex... There is no grand conspiracy to turn public school system into brown shirts of the late 30's and early 40s. And who is the leader of the of this grand scheme?

No one wants to be called a racist... Muslim's hide behind the claim of racism to quell the criticism of the radical element's crimes. Just like the race hustlers in our country... try to shut down the conversation... It's an age old tactic... and it's leading to tragedy after tragedy... The aim of radical islam is the destruction of anyone who doesn't conform. While Christianity and most religions have roots in violence and efforts to convert, or destroy, other faiths in centuries past... We supposedly become enlightened... These radicals are stuck in the 14th century, where women are property, treated as such, and infidels deserve death. Additionally of the "non" radical followers of this religion seem to continue to cower to their radicals... NBC... this morning had an expert on to try to equivocate the murderer of 70+ in the (Netherlands I believe) as a Christian terrorist... with the radical islamic violence we see virtually every day. Nonsense. Last week, Boko Haram murdered 2000 people according to the news reports in the name of islam... We're seeing the rise of the Nazi's again... but refuse to admit it...

Good points... however, some of us aren't from the 50's... so our view is different on some issues... and you forgot about the rise of the entitlement attitude, and entitlement culture... where hard work/workers pay for the entitlement of others... which is then turned into division for political sport... (from both sides).

The good news is the "good news of Christ"... Merry Christmas.

Good conversation... interesting timing. certainly you've been following the news. Is ISIS our enemy? They say they are. Yesterday a video was released that said they would never stop until the ISIS flag was flying over the white house. Have we underestimated their thirst for blood? They've been murdering, hanging, beheading, men women and children. The question of what Jesus would do is a good one. Would he negotiate with them? Would he standby and allow them to butcher tens of thousands of innocents? Because they already have. And they're trying to get at the 40k christians and others to murder them. Would it be morale to arm the Kurds? What if that's not enough?

I don't have a problem with the death penalty. I believe God can forgive a person for anything. I also believe that God allows consequences despite that forgiveness. We live in a liberal nation where everyone can do or say the most outrageous things, and be on the front page... Hollywood is full of rich, liberals who make these violent movies, videos, etc... It's disgusting. The problem, however isn't that they're being made... it's that parents, and the public in general purchase them, endorse them, allow their children to be consumed by them.

I suppose we can't have it both ways.... We've pushed Christian values out of the public square, schools, etc.... but we expect the great unwashed to adhere to the teachings of Jesus.

Republicans raised your property taxes? Has a dem even suggested cutting taxes since Kennedy? I don't think so. Your taxes support a lot of people, including the never ending screeching of every school system in the state that they need more money... How can you advocate less taxes... ? you'll loose your lib credentials...

You should have our Sheriff, Steve Bizzel, Johnston Co. the only items he's spent on items outside his operating budget have been spent out of seized drug dealer money. Steve is making due with the jail he has, which is 20% over capacity. He told me recently how he discontinued smoking and eliminated coffee for prisoners. That saved a good bit of money, but as important to me... shows the perps that they not going to live like they're on the outside. He's required by law to meet their medical needs and such... but he's not for coddling prisoners.

gotta go work today... Lot's of people still need me to get $ to the government for redistribution.
