Great piece Buzz. May I add a hearty "Amen" to what you wrote...and added: Another thing about Hood that I have come to learn over the last few years working with him on the Beaufort Observer is this: He is the most principled government official I have ever known personally. I have seen him work through political issues and the distinguishing characteristics that come through are honor and integrity. I can honestly say I have never known him to be dishonest in word or deed...and I think that says alot about a political figure who has been "tested by fire." Finally, a word to those who are tempted to misunderstand Hood's "personality," I've found it instructive of him when I saw how he performed when he chaired the interim Hospital Board. He was a totally different persona than he has been as a minority member of the BOC. He is truly a "leader for all seasons." Hood's brilliance and commitment to honesty has served Beaufort County well and I am proud to call him "friend."

Some people will never fully understand the gravity of this situation, but those that can need to.
Our government and corporations are physically experimenting on the populace - soon to be children as well. Schools are pushing psychological experimentation and Marxist brainwashing on children, some are going to great lengths to hide that fact. Our rights, what are truly left, are eroded daily. In truth, they are simply lies written on old paper at this point... Something many need to stop pointing to. "News" has been bluntly honest about the fact that Marxist ideological training (CRT and the like) have been part of legal school for decades... the judges that rule on the cases regarding our "rights" and grievances. Jann said America is dying. America is, at best, Weekend at Bernie's at this point. Experimentation on the populace, and I must stress including young children in the near future, is a worst case scenario in any rational person's play book of "bad things that my government may do to me and my family". And here we are. |

Commissioner Richardson, you made no such request. You asked where I got my information. I told you during our phone conservation on September 23, 2021, at 8:30 am that if you want to read about the powers of the Constitutionally elected Sheriff you should read the book by Sheriff Richard Mack called " County Sheriff Americas Last Hope." Since you evidently have not read it, I have ordered a copy and had it mailed to your home. It is scheduled to arrive between November 4 to 12. Please review it and pass it along to other members of the Beaufort County Commission. I'm sure you will find it quite interesting. This book outlines how the Constitutionally elected sheriff has powers to stop Federal and State overreach. It gives many examples where it has been done throughout the United States. A police department has no such powers and would jeopardize the constitutional rights of our citizens. Evidenced by the recent orders that most sheriffs in North Carolina told the federal and state governments that they would not enforce things like closing churches and forcing people to comply with unconstitutional mandates.
