Piratefan: Why are long pants long? I did not say Washington had 53 flock cameras, I said there were "some". Nothing was sensationalized. One flock cameras is one too many, in my opinion.

A point keeps getting proven here: Even some Conservatives, many of whom are good people with sense about them, have too much trust in what they're "told" by their preferred party of government. They want to believe that government is good and that "stupid" doesn't exist in their realm of occupation.

It does exist and we're surrounded by it..anywhere and everywhere. Bizarroworld is very real and if you think about something, odds are, it has been and is being done...somewhere close by.

Common sense awareness is both uncommon and can be overwhelming when first utilized. Eventually, you get used to flying at 35,000 ft at cruising speed. "Stupid" doesn't exist there. It isn't tolerated.

Something brought me back to this article and I believed I shed a few tears reading it. As I sit here preparing myself to return to graduate school for this upcoming fall semester, I found myself reflecting back on what brought me here. I really wish that BCCC knew just how much they did for me during my educational journey there. I cannot thank you all enough for pushing me to persevere. This article was beautiful and I greatly appreciate it still to this day! Continue rooting me on for greatness BCCC. I’m still around and pushing to make a change. Big corporations, Befuddled???? Protecting a big corporation was what Darrin Armstrong's entire campaign was about. A big out-of-state corporation that makes Round Up. He wanted to protect them from "we the people" who were injured by that big corporation's product. Armstrong and his allies put out postcard after postcard accusing Kidwell of being a "sell out" for supporting the rights of "we the people" to compensation for injuries from that big corporation's product.

And it gets worse. Darrin Armstrong's agriculture business has major contracts with the very same out of state big corporation that makes Round Up. Can you spell C-O-N-F-L-I-C-T O-F I-N-T-E-R-E-S-T?

You also need to look at where the big money from the big corporations was in that race. They put hundreds of thousands of dollars in advertising to buy the seat for Armstrong. Look at Kidwell's contributor list. There is not big corporation money there, only money from "we the people." And unlike Armstrong, Kidwell did not have a big outside campaign backing him. His only outside spending came from the gun rights organization Grassroots North Carolina, and that was only one mailing.

We are struck with our "one trick pony" and Big Ag puppet, the Round-Up RINO for two years. But we have to do better next time. We need to find a conservative to run. It probably won't be Kidwell, but we really do need to find a solid REAL conservative to run for our seat. The Round-Up RINO got an "F" from the NRA so we need to send him packing as qucikly as possible.

WASHINGTON, N.C. (WITN) - Washington has fired its city manager after just over three months in the position.

During an hour-long closed-door session on Thursday afternoon, the Washington City Council voted unanimously to let Jonathan Rorie go from the role.

Councilmembers cited concerns over police staffing shortages and emergency communication operations.

Rorie started on April 13 and had an $185,000 salary on a two-year contract. He replaced Jonathan Russell, who resigned in November.

Rorie was most recently town manager for Spring Lake. WTVD says he was fired from that job in February by a 3-2 vote.

CBS should not get any kudos on being fair with the Trump speech on election integrity. While they did air all of it, unlike the Democrat hacks at ABC, NBC, CNN, and MSNOW, CBS had one of their propagandists give a presentation immediate begore the speech giving the Democrat talking points on the issue and questioning the accuracy of what Trump was about to say, even though at that point they did not know what he was going to say.

All of our self-styled "mainstream media" are little more than partisan mouthpieces for the Democrat Party. It was blatant here where they did not even need people from the actual Democrat Party to give the Democrat response. The media did it themselves, and in many cases even without airing the President's speech itself.

New Jersey is just one example showing the president in spot on with this issue and the Democrats and their media mouthpieces are all wet.

The election is over. Kidwell lost, so stop campaigning already. Armstrong hasnt even taken office yet, and yet you think u are Nostradamus and are predicting bad service from him.
Ya'll remind me of the Democrat woman I saw on TV recently who said: I dont care if they are Nazi's at home as long as they vote the "right way." That seems to be your theory on Kidwell. These people are "Representatives," they are suppose to be helpful to any citizen that reaches out. Kidwell got too big for his britches and forgot that. So the people retired him. It's over, UNLESS you are campaigning for him to run in a different position??? Is that what the "useful idiots" are being told to do?
CAn I name where Kidwell failed? Yes, he forgot WeThePeople, while protecting Big Government against us.

Are you on the Victory Committee that Kidwell sits on here in the Beaufort County GOP?

Let's face it, Republicans have a huge problem in the legislature with "leadership" that is in the hip pocket of special interests and addicted to "pay-to-play". While the Democrats were at least as bad in this regard when they were in control, we did not expect our own party to fall into this trap. But lousy leaders like Thom Tillis, Tim Moore, and Phil Berger picked up the Democrat playbook on pandering to the special interests, doing it to cement their own power. Now that Berger has rightfully been kicked to the curb, maybe things will get better in the Senate, but if one of Berger's cronies succeeds him, there will probably be no changes, regrettably. In the House, the new leadership seems to be at least somewhat of an improvement so far, but we will see how that develops. Moore, at first, had seemed to be an improvement over Tillis, too.

Well of course my family had personal reasons NOT to return Kidwell to office and it does appears that a lot of other voters also had Personal reasons NOT to Return an encumbent to public office. He didnt do the job the voters hired him to do, otherwise they would have gone with the devil they knew and not take a chance on the devil that they dont know. He LOST! WeThePeople spoke. Get over it...that is unless ya'll share a bank acct.
By the way are you trying to Alinsky me? That is the actions I expect of a Democrat, not a Republican. This is the very reason why we all in Eastern NC must use aliases.

The Medieval Warm Period was not 40 million years ago, but just a few hundred years ago, and the Holocene Maximum was only a few thousand years ago. Those warm periods, lasting centuries, were interspersed with cold periods, the most recent of which, known as the Little Ice Age or the Maunder Minimum just ended in the 19th century. The Earth has been in a natural warming cycle since then.

CO2 is a minor greenhouse gas. The most important greenhouse gas is water vapor, which accounts for 90% of the greenhouse effect. Without the greenhouse effect, the Earth would be a cold dead planet. It is the greenhouse effect that keeps the Earth warm enough to support life.

Climate records from the ice core samples drilled in the artic and antarctic show that build ups of CO2 in the atmosphere do not precede warming of the climate, they follow it by a hundred years ago. That shows to any rational person that more CO2 is not the cause of the warming but the result of it.
