Commented on Stating the ObviousWill, that is the doctrine of globalism, which is the big totalitarian threat of the 21st century. Its big advocate is the World Economic Forum at Davos with their totalitarian "Great Reset". Fortunately, a wave of nationalism is sweeping the world to reject that totalitarian nonsense and globalism is in retreat.

Commented on Stating the ObviousHere is what is actually obvious. There is a correct and proper path to immigration for honest people in foreign countries. It involves filing a very detailed application while still living abroad, paying some substantial fees, having a medical exam by a physician designated by the American government, doing a very thorough background check including a detailed criminal record check, providing an affidavit of support from an American sponsor, and going through a set of interviews before the prospective immigrant is given permission to travel to the US. Even then, many countries may have a lot fewer slots available than people who want to immigrate to America. It may involve applying multiple times. Then after arriving, there are other interviews and paperwork that are necessary. It takes a lot of time and money, but honest people go through that process, not try to break in line in front of those who are doing it the right way. It is the honest immigrants who were screwed the most by Biden's open borders for the scoflaws.
It is immoral to give those who break our immigration laws a preference over those who do it the right way, but that is exactly what the Biden open borders policies have been doing. I know a number of immigrants who went through the process to immigrate to America correctly, and I know they get steamed to see the Biden regime allowing the illegal aliens to, in essence, break into line in front of those doing it the right way.

Commented on Stating the ObviousLet's be honest on the semantics regarding "Immigration."
In all reality, which is the world I know and govern in, there is Immigration, and there are Illegal Aliens. It is purposefully wrong to use improper words to describe this crisis because: Immigration is legal; Illegal Aliens are illegal, or Illegals if one wishes to use the proper descriptor of person. Using the improper words confuses children and some bystanders, and while children can not vote dim witted bystanders can, and the Democratic Socialist party needs as many dim witted constituents as they can round up to keep a plurality of Americans intellectually impoverished, which has been their general intent.

Commented on Stating the ObviousOne good reason why Americans and Europeans want to rid themselves of the curse of illegal immigration is spelled C-R-I-M-E. Here are some examples:

Commented on Stating the ObviousIt is insulting to REAL immigrants, those who obey the law, the use that term for illegal alien lawbreakers, as this Bill Lee dude does. The far left likes to call them "undocumented immigrants" but that is a contradiction in terms. It is akin to calling a street corner drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist". Those under Biden who let millions of them in need to be prosectuted and jailed, starting with Mayorkas.

Having watched so much absurdity for almost 2 decades,it is not surprising that we dont trust anyone. Burned too many times. Sometimes Trump does seem naive.(especially by not foreseeing the big CHEAT of 2020.) However I know how so many of us take the easy attitude: "Kill them all, let God sort them out." But when one becomes Prez, a reasonable Prez has to be more moderate in his outlook, because he has the responsibilities of the world on his shoulders. For example during Covid, Trump was damned if he did and damned if he didnt, because people were going to die no matter what he did, and he WOULD be blamed. He was between a rock & a hard place. For these reasons I cut Trump a lot of slack. He's a 1000% better than all the rest.

Commented on Stating the ObviousThere is a term for those who want "to share in the prosperity of America" with lawbreakers who are illegally in our country. That term is SOCIALIST.
The influx of illegal aliens has contributed a lot to depressing the wages of our own citizens and driving up the housing costs of our own citizens. That has happened in all western countries where the illegal alien moochers have flooded in. Any honest foreigner would apply to legally immigrate, not sneak across our border. Those Biden let in have included foreigners on the terrorist watch list and also members of multiple violent criminal gangs like MS13 and Tren de Aragua. A rise in illegal immigration in any western country is quickly followed by a rise in crime. Read the polls, Bill Lee. Americans do not want these moochers in our country.

Commented on Stating the ObviousBill Lee: As a Beaufort County Commissioner, now in my 7th term, I have been forced to "come to grips with this issue of immigration," and what I have learned implicitly is that Illegal Aliens are the single greatest contributing force to the rise in costs for this local government of Beaufort County; not to mention the cost to the State of North Carolina; and the Republic of the United States of America. Understanding well this truth, I strongly favor how Mr. Trump has "come to grips with this issue of immigration."
Understanding these weighty matters of governing well, I must offer this careful assessment: Treasonous President Biden may have been the darling of the Non Patriot Leftists, but his presidential legacy, besides the Treason piece, will be one where he will be judged the most corrupt, the most ignorant president in this Constitutional Republic's history, besmirching the Democratic Socialist party to no end. Having said all this Bill Lee: Thanks for offering your side of this opinion coin on this august publication.

Commented on Stating the ObviousI am surprised to see a defense of Biden's awful open borders policies presented on the BO. Legal immigrants, the only ones lawfully defined as "immigrants" have to go through extensive vetting and medical testing in their home countries before they are approved to come to America. There are limited slots and in some countries they are difficult to get. These are the TRUE immigrants, in the mold of those who built America, not the illegal aliens who thumb their noses at our immigration laws and take it upon themselves to illegally crash our borders. These are different groups which should be treasted differently.
A legal immigrant has to have an American sponsor to sign an affidavit of support to provide the needs of the immigrant if he or she is unable to do so for themselves. An illegal alien, on the other hand is a freeloader who leans on the American taxpayer to subsidize him or her. Freeloading illegal aliens cost Americans in a lot of ways other than just through taxes. Our medical costs have skyrocketed due to illegal alien freeloaders who do not pay their bills, and the hospital losses are pushed onto paying patients. That jacks up our medical bills and our health insurance premiums. Germany is a good example of the enormous cost of these illegal alien migrants, Illegal alien "asylum seekers" now account for 63% of German welfare spending. And remember when FEMA had no funds for hurricane relief last year? The Biden regime had spent that FEMA money on illegal aliens and that is why it was not there for hurricane relief. What part of "illegal" do you not understand, Bill Lee?

Commented on Stating the ObviousWhat poppycock. America is NOT the world's welfare state and should not try to be. Did this post get misdirected from the "Daily Worker"? Lee does not seem to grasp that "immigrant" is clearly defined in federal law as only applying to those who apply properly to come to America, are vetted and approved before they arrive. The term does NOT apply to those who arrogantly take the law into their own hands and sneak into the country. The correct definition of those in federal law is "ILLEGAL ALIEN". These lawbreakers need to be rounded up and send home. If we get more immigrants, there is a long waiting list of those honest and honorable applicants who are trying to do it the right way. It is immoral to let the linejumpers in ahead of them. The linejumpers need a quick deportation.
Oh, and "asylum" is mostly a fraud. People claim it when they know they are not entitled to it to get a foot in the door. That fraud needs to be stopped.

Simmons and Washingtonian:
You both touch on very interesting points that most conservatives refuse to discuss. While part of me likes certain character aspects of President Trump, everything is too predictable...I'll leave it at that. I've experienced things with my own eyes that have drastically changed how I view actuality vs. reality. Remember, "reality" is a projection; "Actuality" is what's actually happening around you without projection. I look at some of those surrounding President Trump, in his inner most circle, and I wonder why a man of such stature is so easily controlled by those who wear black cubes on their heads.....the cube of Saturn. To anyone knowledgeable in esoteric history, the black cube is associated with those who sank Atlantis into the heavens which happen to be the same people screwing things up now. I don't know 'bout y'all but things seem like they are about to repeat but with a "slight" twist.

I am deeply curious as to why the Non Patriot Left are so intractable on the issue of Illegal Aliens remaining in OUR Republic, after creating the Invasion of the Southern Border by Executive Order of Non Patriot President Biden, a pathetic Democratic Socialist man, whose nature is of great treason against our Good People.
Curiosity solved, I am just now reminded why: The Non Patriot Left intended from the onset to entice a new voting block of Illegals to invade our borders; to vote them illegally, with the firm intent to steal yet more elections by doing what they do best ... cheat, and cheat again, while hating the Rule of Law of this Constitutional Republic.

Commented on DOGE for Beaufort County GovernmentDaniel was the only prophet ever mentioned by Jesus when he spoke about the future.
“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” Daniel 12:4 -Noah built an ark (first ship) -For thousands of years this was the way to travel the world, by boat. -200 years ago we got the steam engine and the Industrial Revolution. -in the past 100 years we have planes, trains, rockets. Now 4 billion people fly annually. (Many shall run to and fro) Now we have internet and worldwide telecommunications (knowledge shall be increased)

Commented on DOGE for Beaufort County GovernmentAccording to the British media, the DOGE committees set up by the UK's Reform Party in the ten local governments it won absolute control of, they have already identified over 40 million pounds sterling of fraud and waste related to climate alarmism in local government budgets, and although the numbers haven't been totaled up yet, it appears they are likely to come up with just as much related to illegal immigration. They have found a lot of outrageous local government spending on illegal aliens.
Where Reform has to work with the Conservative Party for control of a number of other local governments, the process of setting up DOGE committees has been slower, but there is a lot of potential there, too.

Commented on Raised in a BarnThough I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Commented on DOGE for Beaufort County GovernmentConservative Voter: Your summary in estimation could be the case on all counts; however, in the final analysis, the Center-Left /Left Coalition ("Gang of 4") would have been far better off to have voted in unanimous consent for DOGE for Beaufort County Government.
My 2nd option - DOGE for Beaufort County Governments - may be a bit more politically unwieldy for them to handle as conveniently as they have become accustomed to. DOGE for Beaufort county Governments is a real entity that began in formation on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, and has an obligation to serve from 6 of the 7 committee members, with a big handful of Beaufort County's best governing minds serving in reserve as is needed.
