A refreshing sermon in a world of "Cui Bono". (Who stands to gain, or how will it benefit me?)

I've read other sources (read various articles talking about Cain's statement) stating more context behind what Cain may have been trying to communicate.

James Gunn, an ex-Disney (Marvel) director that now heads DC, has had a history of screwing up established franchises by injecting idiotic politics. When Gunn made it public, after the release of "Superman", that the movie is about embracing immigration and diversity; Cain and others knew that Gunn could potentially ruin the almost 90 year American institution of Superman.

Though a crap ton of money has already been made on the movie, it's longevity could be cut short in the international box office. It all depends on which turd gets kicked over first.

Thankfully, our United States military is regaining its substance and stature under this real commander-in-chief.

DC Comics were a blast years ago; so was Marvel; that has, sadly, ended.

Commented on Stating the Obvious

The real unfairness of the way our immigration system has been run is Biden allowing illegal aliens in line in front of legal immigrants who are trying to do it the right way. If we need more immigrants, there is a big waiting list of people who are applying properly, not trying to sneak to the head of the line. Legal immigrants should ALWAYS have precedence over those who do not respect our immigration laws.

On the immigration debate, I think of my former employee, Sergiu, when I was running an American-funded office in Moldova. Sergiu was our accountant, with a university degree and excellent written and spoken English. His wife was a law student, also with excellent English skills. They applied repeatedly to emigrate to the United States, but there were a lot more Moldovans applying to immigrate than there were immigration slots. Finally, he also applied to Canada. It turned out that accounting was a skill Canada was looking for in immigrants and he was accepted the first time he applied. As with legal US immigration, he and his wife went through extensive medical and background checks and he was required to pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), a test many Americans would have a hard time passing. He passed that test on the first try, getting his immigrant visa soon after. Although it meant I had to hire a new accountant, I was happy for Sergiu and his wife when they were able to board the plane to their new life in Prince Edward Island, Canada.

We have a screwed up immigration system, when people like Sergiu are left on waiting lists while unvetted illegal aliens who thumb their noses at our immigration laws are waved across the border, too many of them connected to foreign criminal gangs. I am happy that President Trump is working hard to fix that.

John Brennan's pro-communist background is not surprising given the Stalin Show Trial he tried to impose on President Trump. Brennan, Clapper, and Comey have committed treason against our Republic and need to spend the rest of their lives in prison. Obama should, too, but unfortunately, he probably has presidential immunity for this dictatorial abuse of power.

Dean Cain doesn't know what he's talking about! I did some quick research to find out that Superman 2025 is already a box office hit. The budget for that film was $350 million and it's already hit $415.1 million worldwide and climbing. So, it did not loss any money at all and everything earned from now on is straight profit!

How to Train your Dragon is doing a lot better with a smaller budget of $150 million and currently at a box office of $592.6 million worldwide which is some damn good profit right there!

DC (DC Comics), like many other film studios, has bombed consecutively at the box office for over half a decade. The injection of "woke" politiks and poor marketing strategy has cost them many millions of dollars in film revenue alone.

DC had a chance to begin restoration of the brand when they brought back Michael Keaton as an older Batman/Bruce Wayne but blew it when they, James Gunn, "allegedly" shelved all of Keaton's projects involving the Burtonverse Batman timeline. All of Keaton's merch for "The Flash" was sold out online in a matter of mins...they couldn't give the other merch away.

Cain knows what DC was back in the day and that if they don't do an about face, everything that himself and others worked to establish is done for. I respect him for telling it like it is and being honest.

Instead of seeing "Superman", I took my daughter to see the live action version of "How To Train Your Dragon". I'm glad I did! Celts and Dragons make for a great evening🤘

For people that do not understand that all levels of government are interlinked, one must still consider to what extent Beaufort County's Community College will be affected by this federal mandate.

Angry Leftist Comedians are boring, and that is why Stephen Colbert could not succeed. He was incredibly banal, and only spoke to those of a like mind.

People who know how to laugh, and make others laugh, like Terry Gilliam, look for those odd corners where humor resides, and freshly can be found.

"Butt-edge-edge" is one of the often spoke of candidates for the Democratic Socialist nomination for President.

I can imagine the sparks that would fly when this Democratic Socialist DEI enthusiast debates a candidate the quality of Marco Rubio or J.D. Vance.

Don't forget that Obama and Biden also inserted DEI into hiring air traffic controllers, dumbing down the tests to push "diversity" under Obama, and then actively seeking to hire categories like the blind, the deaf, and those with mental problems as DEI air traffic control hires under Biden.

First, the Democratic Socialist Party dies by suicide (with some help by we rightful folk), then the we begin on the Republican Party.

I see three to four political parties before we are done here in the USA.

Thank you for this information, John Steed. Whatley is another turd in the Trump punch bowl. Now is the time for MAGA's to push back. Trump is getting some bad advice from these back stabbers. Whatley will be as bad or worse than Tillis. I was at the state Republican convention when Whatley rigged his reelections by having the vote done on cell phones. I will never trust him.

I know that Trump works off of the "keep your friends close and your enemies closer" mantra but, and there is a BUT, his primary base has greatly changed since 2020.

When Trump came to the Airport in Greenville, back in October of 2020, Whatley and others were openly booed by those waiting for President Trump, the only headliner of the show, to arrive in AF1.

A lot has gone on since 2020 and the people who booed Whatley while waiting to see Poppy D wouldn't be caught dead at a Trump event, much less a GOP event, now....too many red flags and avoided questions. A part of me think this is being done on purpose, I could be wrong though.

I think the GOP is being imploded to segway into a new "conservative" uniparty. The old school GOP can't match the intensity of the Trump personality. Don't be surprised if the Old Man hasn't already formed his own party....remember the Patriot Party and how said it was "just an idea" ?

We'll see..

Depressing that people like this LaCivita get so much influence in politics. Whatley seems to be another Tillis. I hope we can get Don Brown the nomination.

What is the difference between ignorance and apathy? I don't know, and I don't care. People who are uninformed about what is happening also vote.

The LaCivita connection explains a lot. One wonders if he is tied up in the Green New Deal boondoggle like Tillis and Whatley are. I guess NEVER TILLIS has now become NEVER WHATLEY. Whatley is just a warmed over Tillis. Will we ever learn?

Do North Carolinians still have a GOP legacy? Memories are getting dim of Jesse Helms, Lauch Faircloth and John East. Without reasons for conservatives to stay, why should they?

These Whatley RINO assumptions or dreams of a purple NC are fast turning NC blue. Senate and Council of State are ugly blue sores on our state. Where is competent leadership? We are setting the table for a Cooper Senate term. NC GOP sucks.

Trump is noted for bad RINO endorsements in the Carolinas, and he is doing it again with RINO Whatley, who is Tillis 2.0. Trump's most famous blunder in that regard was endorsing Tillis himself in 2020 when a substantial conservative was gearing up to challenge Tillis. That Tillis endorsement was loudly booed to Trump's face by his own supporters. Trump has also endorsed some RINOs in congressional primaries in NC.

Trump has also publicly endorsed RINO establishment hacks for NC Republican Party chairman against solid conservative opponents.

This year in South Carolina, Trump has endorsed amnesty pusher "Light in the Loafers" Sen. Lindsay Graham, who is nicknamed Lindsay Grahamnesty. Graham is a RINO's RINO. He is being primaried by a first string conservative challenger, former two term Lieutenant Governor Andre Bauer, but Trump goes with the RINO.

One of the many liberal things Tillis and Whatley have in common is support for the green energy boondoggle. Whatley's history on that major issue is directly opposite Trump's position. Trump has called out climate alarmism as a hoax and is gutting the Biden wind and solar projects. Whatley is a former lobbyist for the corrupt solar energy grifters, pushing taxpayer money down that rat hole. Remember, one of the reasons Tillis gave for not supporting the Big Beautiful Bill was that it cut corrupt subsidies to wind and solar grifters.

NO, Whatley is NOT acceptable, any more than his mentor Tillis was.

A conservative congressman looking at this race just met with Trump, so maybe Trump will do the right thing on this one after all, or at least stay out of the primary.
