Big Bob 2.0: Simple, New York State, mostly around New York City, is full of voters who either don't care, or are too stupid to know better.

Kathy Hochul, the Idiot Governor, is a wanton Non Patriot, and is ruining this once great place, now a pathetic sanctuary state.

We are the self-governed, and the people of New York, mostly those around New York City, are getting the government they deserve, and that is most sad for so many intelligent New Yorkers that are smart enough to NOT vote for Democratic Socialists, who are controlled by the ardent Non Patriot Leftists.

Two women in this congressional hearing, both from the same state; one is intelligent and wise, the other is not. One is a Non Patriot Leftist, the other is not.

One is a Republican and younger, the other is a Democratic Socialist and older; can you figure whom is which?

Can you believe that the state of New York can elect both of these women during these same days of evil and chronic abject stupidity?

The answer: This is New York state, and because of New York City politics, which is ongoing due to both some of the most dishonest, and very stupid voters, New York States is now considered one of the most corrupt states in the USA.

And yes, Governor Kathy Hochul, D, a Non Patriot Leftist, is categorically a corrupt idiot of grand renown.

The other woman, wise Representative, Elaine Stephanik, R, of New York, conversely, is a brilliant patriot. Thank the Good Lord for good people from some very low places, where many local governments, and the state of New York are utterly corrupt.

One of the perennial challenges in government is the relationship between the policymakers, generally the elected bodies but in state or federal executive branches also their political appointees, on one side, and the career staff who carry out the policy on the other. This is true at all levels of government. Sometimes career staff accumulate too much power and set up bureaucratic fiefdoms and sometimes the policymakers let them get away with it. To make government work as it is supposed to for citizens, all the players must accept the proper role of their positions as well as that of others in government.

From my own service as a political appointee in the Jim Martin administration in NC state government, most of the career staff in the department I worked in fully understood the differences between policymakers and those who did the nuts and bolts work of keeping government running, and everyone worked well together without trying to get in someone else's lane. We only had a handful who acted as if they were a power unto themselves in a bureaucratic fiefdom. They existed but were a distinct minority.

If u want to run for city council, I guess the first smart thing u do is let the City Manager know tht you wont be a threat to his domain AND,
It doesnt hurt to stroke the ego of the GodFather while you are there.
Any ambitious person might as well join the Council members/Staff and employees who are all petting the Head of the Snake. They've learned you have to pay to play.

Hood’s excellent article on the subject of whether or not to close Snowden is another reason Beaufort County is lucky to have him represent them as a commissioner. I want to thank him for that honest and intelligent representation.
I would like to add that I believe Beaufort County needs smaller community schools, especially in grades 1-8, because more parent involvement is needed. Communities become stronger when that happens.
